Bring Back BBC Atlantis

Okay guys, these are all the petitions I could find about bringing back Atlantis. Notice how scattered this fandom is? Yeah, slight problem. We can’t get a third season, but if we band together maybe we can get some sort of special - even if it’s just released online that’s better than nothing.

In total, there are (currently) 7059 signatures. Not that many. There’s got to be a bigger fan base than that.

So here’s what I’m thinking: for starters, everyone sign ALL these petitions, or somehow create a master petition that bands all these signatures together.

Second: get the BBC’s attention. Flood them on twitter, facebook, or whatever other social media you can. Direct their attention to the petitions. Show them that fans WANT to watch this show, that it’s worth the effort.

I’m not expecting miracles, but it’s possible to get something. An online special, a couple of extra episodes, something. But it will require some collective effort from the fandom. Now go and sign these petitions.

I don’t post selfies on this blog (today was selfie day of Save Atlantis Week, for followers who weren’t aware), but that doesn’t mean Atlantis isn’t on my mind. I was hoping to post something else today to finish off our week, but I’m not quite ready yet. But soon, and it’s awesome.

Anyway, I think the Atlantis fandom is the most beautiful fandom I’ve ever been lucky enough to be part of. You guys are all gorgeous (inside and out apparently).
