I just need to let my emotions out right now. I believe in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and accepting every country and every religion as their own. Everyone has the freedom to choose their beliefs. But, my country right now just got into an official war with Azerbaijan. However, this isn’t just a war. If no one puts a stop to it, my homeland and my people are going to suffer another genocide. Azeri soldiers are not only bombing our country, they’re raisin the homes of innocent civilians. Aiming for mostly elderly and children. Cutting the ears off of the elderly they killed to keep them as souvenirs and present it proudly to their president, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. They attacked a children’s school today and beheaded one of our Armenian soldiers. Aside from how inhumane all this sounds, they put the head of this Armenian soldier in a bag to present to their president as a present. The head of an Armenian soldier is considered a trophy to them. The ears of Armenian elderly are considered sacred souvenirs. After 101 years of fighting for recognition for the Armenian genocide that took place in 1915, we are now being faced with another genocide that the world is just turning their backs amongst, just like every other genocide that has been happening in the world in the 21st century. It’s outrageous to think about really. How something can be so publicly done, yet no one really does anything about it. No one cares to.
