Personal opinion but...
...personally think the Save Galaco petition is useless. The company can't legally keep her operational. That is why they're removing her. She was a prize with a code that was only going to last a year. After that she would be an illegal product. What people don't seem to realise is that pretty much all the Vocaloid companies are doing their hardest to solve the situation but know they can't do anything to solve this problem in the time limit they have. And you know what's worse. People have sent them death threats. Do you know how fucked up that is? People have been saying they'll end their life if Galaco is deactivated. Do you guys understand how terrified the staff are?
Yes, it was stupid for her to be released to only function for a year, but there was no other way she could have been made and we're all gonna have to get over it and move on. There are other Vocaloids coming out, not to mention the numerous already existing and the hundreds of Utauloids. I think we can manage to lose one.
