Gosh. I am always so blown away with gratitude at the shows I get to be a part of and photograph by proxy. Tonight is the First Friday Comedy Show at @totallyawesomebarsavannah presented by @savannahcomedyunderground at 8pm. I’m hosting Totally Open Mic tonight at @totallyawesomebarsavannah (and then karaoke afterwards of course) and it just so happens to fall on @wrathnasty ‘s Birthday! I can tell you without a doubt that Wrath Nasty is a very special human being. He is one of the first karaoke DJ’s I ever sang with in town and I’ve known him for somewhere around 15 years, I don’t precisely remember when we met, but he has certainly made an unforgettable presence in my life. He is hilarious, snarky, quick witted, blessed with crazy vocals, and my very favorite curmudgeon of all time. Tonight is my last performing as @savannahcomedyunderground ‘s Resident Comedian of the Month at @totallyawesomebarsavannah and it’s been so much fun getting to represent femme comedy for Women’s History Month. Between that, out of town shows, and mics I’ve probably performed more sheer stage time this month than any month since the pandemic shut down the stage. It really reminded me what I do it all for.
