Lol, I already have the base game and a few expansions. It is glitchy. And FIGHTS Windows 8 for all it's worth and then some. I think Sims 3 is legitimately more upset this machine runs on 8 than I was/am. But this is the cool extra world/stuff pack that comes with dragons. And 6 bucks is basically a steal--it's normally 20/35 from Origin. But you're absolutely right--I do feel better thinking about how not getting it means i DON'T have to perform a song, dance, prayer to a rain god, and ritually sacrifice my left pinkie toe, and right eye and kidney and muck about with compatibility mode (and maybe promise a first born for good measure) to make it install properly. I hear that SIms 4 is going to be better about that at least. I think tomorrow I'll experiment with Battlefield 3 :)

ask Savagelee-- she has one and is pretty happy with it. If it's in a browser or chrome app, you're good. A desktop will almost always give better specs for the same price as a laptop, so take that into consideration. but chromebooks are way cheap.
