Kacey Musgraves – Middle Of Nowhere May 1, 2026

For her last 3 albums, I’ve (maybe foolishly) wished for Kacey to reach her Golden Hour highs, but sadly I don’t think it’ll ever happen. This album is just… pleasantly fine.

This was genuinely the hardest listen I’ve had all year. Not the worst – there were exciting glimmers of creativity throughout – but definitely had the most wasted potential.

They’ve evolved their sound, yet with an effortless consistency. It’s as if Boards Of Canada never disappeared for the last decade… now please don’t vanish again guys!!!

Kim Petras – Detour May 29, 2026

I’m genuinely so proud of her. Lyrically and musically, this album feels like a rebirth – I know people make jokes but it feels like her true debut. Kim has finally arrived.
