Ta-daaaa! Chikawa Week is back this year as well!

It will be held from October 1 - October 7! I know, I know. There are still a few months left. But we wanted to give you guys some time to work on your prompts since you are busy people. We wanted to give you enough time so you don't feel rushed!

With no further ado, these are the prompts for Chikawa Week 2023!

As we all know from the meaning of "Ai": Chika connects with every single ones in the club, Chika also understands both love and sadness, but Chika never thought that he was also valued and deserved to be loved. I think what Chika needed was an affirmation that he didn't bring burden or pain to others, not anymore, he loves and is loved by everyone. And Satowa, being the first to directly say she loved Chika, made Chika realized: "Ah, I have the right to be happy", "Ah, I am loved by others." What makes the difference between Satowa's claim of love, and those close to Kudou from before (Isaki, Mr. Ken, Tetsuki, Kouta, Sane, Mittsu) is that Satowa doesn't "know" Chika's stories too well, she doesn't know too many things about him but things that everyone already knew. Like Uzuki said, she was completly stranger and she lived in a different world, that's why Satowa just loves Chika the way him is - there's no pity, there's no family connection. Satowa makes Chika realize that he has the ability to bring love to others - not just his family or Tetsuki (his childhood friend). Chika didn't take himself seriously before, he didn't believe that he was loved too, didn't believe that he wouldn't become a burden to someone. So Chika is always ready to sacrifice, always ready to give up. He values ​​people more than himself to the point that he thinks he is always a bad omen and always brings disaster, so he chooses to face it on his own, choose to stay away.Though, Takinami, Tetsuki, Takezou all let him knew that he doesn't have to suffer alone because it wasn't his fault. Satowa's confession is the most direct, most touching thing, to let Chika know that: the boy himself, has the ability to bring love to others; he is valuable, he is loved. Satowa said what Chika most wanted to hear, said words which Chika deserves to be heard.

Chika found himself in those words.

Chika sees his own worth, ability, and affection.

Chika appreciates himself, not just the love people gave him.
