Summary: As Satine's world has fallen apart around her, she fell right along with it. She lost everything, her son and her sister. All she had left was Obi-Wan, and even she didn't believe that would last. Her gut instinct might have been right, as Obi-Wan receives a message that requires him to leave immediately. He promises that he will be back soon, but as is everything in Satine's life, it was made to be broken.
First I apologize for the post and them immediate deletion of this fic yesterday. I forgot that yesterday's prompt was regret and not Alternate Timeline so I uploaded this a day early. This has been a fic that lived rent free in my head for a while. I was hoping to have it finished before I started posting but the fic fits so well for today during Satine Week (Alternate Timeline) that I felt like I should publish the first chapter. I'm really looking forward to what I have planned but you'll just have to wait and see! Updates may take time as I will be writing this as I go. And I wouldn't have written this without the help of my best friend! He and I wrote this idea as a roleplay forever ago and he's letting me utilize the idea for the fic. Summary: Satine Week Day 1: Rebuilding Mandalore ll Satine thought rebuilding her world at a young age was hard enough, and now she is doing it again, when she is far older. She doesn't have the same support system as she did then, and she finds herself lashing out at the support system she does have.
If I'm honest, I have written this over the course of like... two days. I didn't have a lot of time to plan for Satine Week because of my work schedule. I wanted to get something out for it, even if I don't get to do every day. I hope you enjoy!
