First of all the house would be in absolute chaos, not only is Belphie not strong enough to keep the others under control but like the only one really capable would be Mammon and that’s a shit show in itself. Belphie relying on his twin brother- the only one that will listen to him- to keep the others in line. Often it’s hard to resist the second youngest puppy dog eyes (and after everything with Lilith the thought of denying beel anything is nearly impossible) but there are still times where the brothers outright defy Belphie. Going as far as to fight him for control where he thinks he rightfully deserves it (After everything he’s sacrificed fot them--

-But they dont know that. Can never know.)

And Diavolo; who is wearing belphie down to the bone. The avatar of sloth being piled with millions of jobs, hundreds of projects and he knows the prince is trying shatter him (Trying to make him break, trying to make him see) but Belphie is stubborn and keeps pushing. He forces himself to stay awake, spends sleepless nights proving over and over again that Divaolo can not, will not, break him.

But at the cost of so much.

Beel with a twin brother that grows more distant the longer he’s at the princes side. That clams up more and more and Beel knows there’s something wrong but every attempt at shaking it out of his brother is met with blaintent feigned ignorance or a loud snore. Who has not only lost Lillth but is now losing his 

Belphie who takes one look at this nosey little human and decides that if they become too much of a problem then all he has to do is wrap his fingers around their frail neck and Snap. Who stays tense, getting between them and their attempts to make pacts with his brothers acting like he’s being a little shit but when his brothers look away he’s hovering over this small human with a threat on his lips. That one day sees the humans smiles directed at one of his brothers and...

...and he cant tell if he’s jealous of the human- who can get his family to smile so easily now- or he’s jealous of his brothers and the unrestrained affection they receive now.

(But no, no, that cant be.)

And Lucifer- the avatar of pride locked up like a fucking criminal. Burning with so much rage for all of humanity because he was the older brother and this is all their fault and he was supposed to protect their youngest and he failedfailedfailed. Because he dosn’t know where to direct all this anger and instead looks at humanity and decides that the only thing to do is to burn it all to the fucking ground. Who’s pride is wounded yet again because somehow the weakest brother was able to entrap him in this goddamed room. Who snarls at the human that stumbles upon his jail one night and threatens them until he’s sure they’ll never want to come back but they do-- every night (Because sneaking under avatar of sloths nose is just a nap away) and slowly the walls of a once prideful man come crumbling down to show just what he always was- an older brother desperate to protect the same siblings that fell for him. That blames himself for all the losses they had to endure and still do, that has one gentle hand placed in his own and melts at the affection he has not felt in years.

And for a brief moment he puts aside his pride to ask for their help.
