             "You... remembered?"

      She glances from the side, down at the small packet. It was the little cherry-flavored candies she liked as a child, even back when Sasuke was in the village. It was one of the things she could recall from her childhood, after all: the candies were a little hard to get, imported from the Land of Tea. Only a few shops in Konohagakure had sold them.

      The girl wondered if he noticed that her mood was off, or if Sakura told him of the events that transpired today: a few failed attempts at a new jutsu, a little argument with Boruto she had yet to resolve. Yet, the sentiment alone from her father was enough to put aside those feelings— for her lips to curl into a nostalgic smile as she tackes the packet, smiling as she held one of the orb-shaped sweets between her fingers. He cared.
