When did you first start shipping sassy?
The summer before season 7 aired was when I was starting to get invested. 7x01 kicked it into overdrive. 7x17 raised it's status to OTP (and a life of pain)
What is your favorite part about sassy?
Wait what how can I even sTART. Sam prayed for angels to look over him his entire life and Cas was the only angel he kept believing in after he found out the truth. Sam constantly defends him and Cas constantly tries to ensure Sam's safety. They both failed miserably while trying to do the right thing and they both atoned for it while believing they never could. AND ALL OF THIS IS CANON. I can't even put into proper words why this ship appeals to me so much.
What are your favorite kinds of fic/art/et al?
ALL OF IT GIMME ALL OF THEM. The benefit of a smaller fandom is that we get excited when we get anything, but we get the bonus benefit BECAUSE WE HAVE AWESOME PEOPLE WHO MAKE JAW-DROPPING STUFF like w o w how did I get so lucky with this ship and this fandom. Protective!Cas and hurt!Sam is my endgame tho.
What is your favorite thing about the sassy fandom?
I never have to worry about someone harrasing me or attacking me for my opinions, or even be embarrassed, because these are some of the nicest and most open-minded people I've ever met. We don't have to explain the appeal to each-other, we all just know, although there's some mega fine meta out there that try to put it into words. We can be horny as fuck, fluffy as little shits, and dark and angsty as we wanna be, and we all love it. It's not a faction of a fandom - it's a community. I honestly think that we are what the rest of fandom should be. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH.
