Why don’t you realize that it’s your scumbag father you should be angry at, not Sally! He saw how vulnerable she was and took advantage of that! Predators choose their victims for a reason. The only reason she complied was because she was afraid he would kick her out if she refused. She had no where else to go at that point. This is a classic case of blaming the victim but not the perpetrator! And no, she’s not being selfish. Everything she does in her act is for her child Gwen. Yes, she is skilled at getting people to do what she wants and does so a lot in her act (Arthur, Johnny Bolton, and Byng being examples) but at least it’s done for a good cause! She’s ensuring her and her child’s future. Her idle voicelines and journal entries clearly show that she loves Arthur dearly. I wish they were together in the end either in a platonic or romantic relationship and it makes me sad that they’re not. Fanfiction has been a great help though as always. Well, we’ve come to the end of our time.
