9: What's the most important part of a relationship?

a relationship is what you make it; but i think, a mutual trust that allows you both to be honest even when it might be scary bc without that ability to be sincerely yourself and open to receive from another person, how can you be anything?

18: What do you consider a deal breaker?

cheating, lying with intent to harm, and like, the refusal to try to communicate or get better or change; anything that would make safety and trust impossible

29: What do you notice first about another person?

in person: after physical appearance, their manner of speaking!! how they talk, choose their words., etc.

online: what they leave out of the conversation? what they put in their tags, under readmores, and whats implied in their posts, this doesnt have to be something serious, sometimes you can just pick up on their particular brand of humor for example.

48: What's your favorite love song?

*cracks  knuckles* i dont have favorites but heres some that come to mind

a classic song, like heart achey, honey dripping, slow dance kinda classic love

hopeful, just a little bit of private frustration, electric heart-skipping scared out of your wits, “i dont know how to do this” song for falling in love

its hozier, im sorry but just take it

god this one is so...sensual? soulful? goosebumps, man. idk. 

nostalgic love; missed love, creeping love that manifests as a danger or invasion into the privacy of the heart and the way it threatens the performances we’re groomed into from childhood

do you know, apparently in middle school and highschool there were some pretty serious crushes that i apparently ruined by being an oblivious nerd

the first time i saw the old man and the old moon!! it was a magical experience

i went with my dad and it was SUPER foggy and the town was deserted and i saw a man walking two enormous irish wolfhounds appear out of the fog in front of me

it’s probably one of the more cinematic things that’s happened to me

stardust has some great stuff, sabriel is amazing, i love the left-handed fate, and i just rediscovered the girl from everywhere (i befriended the author at a convention!!)

the aubrey-maturin series is also very good if u love ships

a friend of mine was being really shitty to me and i was like “hey what’s the deal, this isn’t nice, can we work this out?” and tbh that was very brave of me to try to work it out
