TW: sensitive content
In her own words, as published in the official COG-TFI book “The Story of Davidito,” Sara Kelley recounts her sexual abuse of Ricky Rodriguez, Karen Zerby’s son, who was a toddler at the time. Kelley also states that Zerby was present and listening in on this incident, establishing Zerby’s full knowledge and consent of her son’s abuse.
In spite of overwhelming evidence of Kelley’s child sexual abuse, including self admissions and photographs of sex crimes distributed worldwide by COG-TFI as “childcare tips” for members, Kelley has never been brought to justice.
In 2018, a whistleblower revealed that Kelley was working as a national director for Seeds of Hope, a non-profit in Costa Rica for vulnerable women and children. Following the revelations, Kelley fled the country and local authorities opened an investigation. Seeds of Hope said they were unaware of Kelley’s background. (bit.ly/431mZz3)
