so i just put a tag in a post “i love this” and it reminded me of when sarahbae changed my nickname in the hip hop group chat to “emmacdonalds” as she claims i am a walking mcdonalds advertisement because i always say i love things. i really appreciated that. and it’s true, i’m always vocal about the things i appreciate and love or thought was a good decision. i think it’s important to make those heard.

sarahbae and i hung out with each other for hours on end, several days in a row, and i wouldn’t have asked for it any other way. we study really well together and when we take study breaks we have the coolest conversations. i feel like i’m exercising my brain when we talk and that’s what i’m after in college. it’s like julia said, “you don’t go to college for the education, you go for the conversations and interactions you’ll have with people.” wow is that so true. and i definitely know that conversations with sarahbae are the ones she was talking about. we agree on a lot of things and that’s super cool, but were both waiting for something we don’t agree on for the sake of a good argument and the learning opportunity. we learn a lot when talking about things we agree on, we usually have different sources to our backing and when we piece ours together we get this complete whole backing which is so cool, but i can’t wait to see when we both have different sides. think of the rebuttals!

i forgot to mention this about workshop last friday but flower boy was talking to sarahbae and he was trying to show her the piece clay taught us at the master workshop and i was right by them and i was watching and he got lost and looked right at me for help cause i was there and then i was like “dude idk if i even remember like props to you for remembering as much as you know” and then he was like “no no come over lets try it out” or something like he wanted me to go over and help him remember the rest of the choreo so i took off my jacket and together we remembered the whole piece and when we finished i turned around to him and held up my hand and we high-fived and i felt blessed.
