As someone who's loved Azul's art ever since 2016 and is also a nb lesbian in a relationship with a fat butch nb lesbian I can't thank you enough for defending Azul and fat people in general. I think I'd be just as rabid as you if some fuckass made a comment about my wife like that. What a nasty human being that is going into the medical field... Very scary...
My little sister is also a fat girlie so I've been arguing with assholes on behalf of fat people all my life lmao. No matter how much they try to cite medical literature and how hard they claim they care about "health" it always comes from a hateful place, and they ALWAYS double down when you call them out for it.
It's so easy (especially for us autistic folks) to believe that because we are informed on a given topic, it absolves us of the responsibility to be kind and mind our own business. I've definitely been rude to strangers before in the name of "just trying to educate/correct/inform" and it wasn't ok for me then, and isn't ok for this girl to do now. The sad part is I can remember being just as self-righteous when I was 18 about the things that mattered to me, and I can only hope she grows out of it.
But yea, come for my wife and all bets are off.
