I have been keeping track of my husbands blood pressure at home for a good while now. We were using one of the wrist instant read blood pressure machines that took batteries. Although it was accurate when we checked it at his doctors office, we noticed that the batteries belong low can cause false readings. We needed something more accurate, as my husbands blood pressure was not being controlled very well by medicines. The nurse assured us that it is high quality and would give accurate readings. She gave a quick course in how to take his blood pressure with this cuff and my own personal stethoscope, and we have gotten closer to getting his blood pressure under control. This cuff has a good amount of strong Velcro, just like the cuffs at the doctors office. The meter can stay attached to the cuff, or you can take it off, depending on what is most comfortable for you. The bulb is just the right thickness to squeeze and the vaulted is easy to turn with one hand while using the bulb. This blood pressure cuff comes with a very nice storage bag that is the perfect size to fit it back into and keep it in excellent condition. Remember when buying this that it doesn't come with a stethoscope, so you will want to get one if you don't already have one.
