"Saaam," said the breeze creeping through the tunnel, ruffling the fine hairs on the nape of her neck and bringing her snow-numbed skin back to life with goosebumps that spread like poison ivy.

Her heart raced, sank, clenched, raced again. Still, she couldn't bring herself to look away from the paper in her hands, couldn't bear the thought of moving her fingers from the smudges Hannah's had left; maybe that was how it was happening at all, a ritual out of a storybook, a witch's spell, and if she stopped reading her last thoughts, if she released the last thing she'd touched, then she'd disappear again. She'd be alone.

"Saaam," it said again, the mines, the echoes, her memory, who was to say, "III'm heeereee, wheeereee aaareee yooouuu?"

Merry Christmas @anrimii I'm your secret santa! I had so many ideas swirling around my head, but decided to land on a Sannah fic inspired by the song "Ruin the Friendship" by Taylor Swift!

Woah woah woah woah woah ..... say less. The underrepresentation of this ship in the fandom is cray cray so here are some more headcanons I have for them!!

My overall opinion, they are so lovely and have so much potential 🥺 I am simply a sucker for best friends to lovers and I'm sold each and every time it is fed to me. That being said, the complexity of Sam's feelings for the Washingtons is my personal special interest...

I like to think that some of these confusing feelings she held for her best friend may have transferred over to that friend's older brother following her disappearance.... thus birthing Josh/Sam.

That is a completely different post, none the less I thought I'd mention it here 👀

These hcs will be about the prologue and leading up to the trip where the prank happened.... mayhaps gonna lead into another headcanon post I'm working on so stay tuned!!
