The summer Trollmarket was looking for a new hearthstone was probably the first time Jim and Toby had been apart for any length of time. Even with texting, letters are a fun way to keep connected :3

Once again I dusted off an old sketch (from 2020 wow) to finish. This is from my and @thosetrollkids' Disney Fairy Au. In trying to imagine Jim and Toby's house (an old soup pot) I was charmed by the idea of their bathtub being a gravy boat :3

There was a bruise on Tub's jaw from where Steve had thrown him against the locker, but it was nothing-he looked more certain of himself that at any other point of his life. He grinned at me, showing all those glorious braces. "You watch my back, I watch yours," he said. "It's only fair." He offered up a hand and I took it. "My ninja," I said. "My trollhunter," he replied.

I of course had to draw my Self Indulgent Au which initially was just "What happens to the characters after Trollhunters" before 3below s2 and Wizards came out and I started adding re-writes. This is a peek into Jim and Toby's home in New Trollmarket, Toby works with trolls to amass as much geological knowledge as they as accumulated, as well as trading human things with them, and Jim has trollhunting duties that aren't constantly having to save the world lmao. Claire visits frequently when she's not off helping changelings. This is Jim and Toby in their mid-20's
