A hard lesson learned today- that may yet still end in disaster: Barge makes paint bubble. I didnβt know this, had zero idea it would happen, and SHOULD have tested on a sample first- but didnβt. In an effort to tack the ribbon/lace to the top of the greave to keep it from slipping down, I dabbed a small bit of barge onto the area where I wanted it (and the ribbon). Much to my horror, after my timer went off, bubbles had erupted at the barge location. In terror, I said βto heck with itβ and slapped the ribon on. It stuck...luckily, and stayed stuck for a test fit after approximately 20 mins from the start of the ordeal. Iβll know in 24 hours if the barge sets properly or if I need to scrape paint and start again. Cross your fingers for me, people.
