I was doing my fabric seaching at the store when I saw this item. So went home to give it a test. If you do not really want to use real leather for your outfits, you can use this HeatNBond vinyl iron on to a fabric. It have matt and gloss. What I got I think it was matt finishing. And those who are thinking of doing the runaway outfit from andor TV series. I think this is one way to do the vinyl iron on if you can't get the right color. What I try was after I do the vinyl iron on, I went on to iron it again on to a base fabric with the double side adhesive tape under the fabric that have the vinyl look. I think for applique sewing, it is pretty easy to sew on the machine.
What am I working on now? Bowsette is what I’m working on! Yuna…didn’t look right. I thought the flowing top would be flattering…I was VERY wrong. It looks BAD on me. It made me look huge & I’m not even sharing pictures of me in it. Nonetheless, I’m heading full speed into my backup plan. I plan on making this look like it’s been through a fire filled fight. My Battle Bowsette will be what I wear while judging at #sege2022 next month. Cosplay/Sewing tip of the day- when making mock-ups, try using thrift store fabric. I got 3 yards of black midweight cotton and 3 yards hot pink heavy weight twill for $4 each at a thrift store today. Twill is GREAT for lining corsets.
