Scratch DJ Academy launch Sandy relief fund
The weather on the west coast is very temperamental right now. At the beginning of the week it’s simply way too hot outside to be enjoyable, and nearing the weekend it’s freezing cold and windy. This is really only a mild annoyance to those who live on this side of the Country. If you live in the eastern coast and close to areas in the south, your weather these last few weeks has been hellish in comparison. Hurricane Sandy hit areas of the east coast that weren’t fully prepared to deal with the incoming damages and after math of the destruction. Now that the worst of the storm is over, the cleanup must begin. Organizations around the United States are working together and asking for donations of all types – in order to move the cleanup and restoration efforts forward. Since DJs and producers live all over the country, it’s fair to say that many like you and me have been affected by the disaster. The folks over at Scratch Academy DJ (scratch.com) have asked their readers and students to help by donating what they can to help out a victim. Obviously, the money isn’t going to any new gear – but to necessities like blankets and water. http://djworx.com/scratch-dj-academy-launch-sandy-relief-fund/
