—-Mozenrath has a basic understanding of anatomy and emotion from all his books, that appears to have gone out the window when it’s happening to him. Yeah he’s smooth and flirty when he’s in a position to taunt, but he’s really just a clueless brat when it comes to controlling his body (teen hormones anyone?) and definitely his emotions- let’s be honest here. Sadira, on the other hand, definitely knows what she’s doing and is much more mature in every sense of the word. She’s clumsy and bumbling when it comes to magic, cooking, ect… but she’s very street smart and has a very honed skill set. She always tries to have good intentions, but certainly isn’t above manipulating situations to her advantage. That’s what I love about her.

 Moz needs to grow up and get on her level damnit. Hell no I don’t ship them without character development from the series. Mozenrath is a spoiled brat and a “heinous jerk”, but he’s got something she wants. If this is gonna work it’s not him sweeping her off her feet as some dark mysterious suave entity. That’s played up a lot in his stuff, and while he has that in him to be sure, it’s not the sum of his parts in my headcanon. It’s not all of his character. He’s immature, he’s a giant magic nerd and slightly awkward.  He’s a necromancer so he likes death. ..A LOT. So much so that he almost forgets to live.  I also see him as melancholy/bored and miserable much of the time, but it manifests itself in an irrational lust for power and irritability. I see Sadira as being guilty of manipulating him slowly over their journey, changing him and also him growing up on his own. Having the gauntlet stripped of much of it’s original power may do wonders to bring wonder-boy down to earth as the story progresses. He’s used magic as a crutch for so long, he is stunned to see Sadira wield her powers without destroying herself and watching how fast she is able to learn (though he’d never admit it) and teach herself magic- even if she fails often and thinks she’s “not even good” at it. She’s so much more talented than she knows. I think he’d have a healthy (albeit jealous) respect for that. It also helps that Sadira is easily impressed- and even what Moze can do with the under-powered gauntlet would be enough to leave her genuinely impressed. He knows what she could become, but is at a loss for why she would ever turn away from magic in the first place. He may only be in love with her potential at first, but eventually becomes begrudgingly partial to who she actually is.
