Kane used a toothpick to swirl the ice in his glass as he wondered what event he could use to answer the question. If he even had any to recollect. “There’s not much I stand up fo...” He cut himself off and grinned. 

“Ahh... there once was a time I didn’t particularly like how a guard looked at me... and he was known to harass women. His hands tend to roam where they weren’t welcomed.” Kane elaborated with his hand before settling it back to the armrest. “So, I beat him to a pulp with the help of a few... men.” He chuckled. 

“And I tied a rope around his foot and dragged him all across Silvermoon City. He didn’t survive, however, so you can look at is as if I... made a stand for the women of Silvermoon City and was charged with manslaughter.” Kane placed the toothpick down and took a long swig of his whiskey before settling back into his chair comfortably.

Risri has a few hobbies. Some are practiced more often than others but she does consider them as such.

Her first, of course, is her photography. While it is her work, she does just like taking pictures and even when she’s not working she has her camera with her. She may see something interesting that has her snapping a quick photo. She usually is carrying several rolls of film both developed and undeveloped.

Her second hobby is alchemy. She makes all her own developing chemicals so while it may benefit her work, she sees it as a hobby now rather than work.

Her third free time activity is reading. This is something she does daily, usually before bed. Curled up in the window seat of the small tower or in Drag’s armchair when he’s out, she will read until she can’t keep her eyes open. When Drag is home, they spend plenty an evening in each other’s company reading and sharing what they are reading. She enjoys history immensely as does Drag so it makes sharing books easy. 

Openly, it’s definitely Weleria. She’s always been the person who’s more romantic of the pair in public -- when they started seeing one another, it actually hurt her feelings that Eleeria is not huge on open cuddling, kissing, stuff like that! Eleeria over time has compromised to accept hand holding and some light kisses  (like a kiss goodbye or hello), but she’s definitely keen on coming off professional and reserved in public.

Secretly, though Eleeria really could take or leave romance -- I would personally go so far as to say she’s on the aromantic scale -- she recognizes Weleria’s need to feel special and cared about in a romantic way. So she spends a lot of time doing things just because Weleria would like it, or because Weleria would be surprised by it. Which hilariously makes her the more romantic person, but she genuinely loves her wife and wants her to feel satisfied and happy.

Serena likes to be in Asharin’s arms, she feels safe when he’s holding her.

“The ocean does. The sight of it, the sound of it, the smell of it, the feel of it. It’s been there for me since I was a child. My bedroom faces the beach, when I leave my patio door open it’s all I hear before I go to sleep and when I wake up.

Alexa excels in close combat  fighting, typically she favors a long-reach weapon such as a spear, poleaxe, or long sword. Distance is usually key when wielding this type of weaponry, so she often pairs it with a round shield to push back the opponent. If in close quarters, she typically uses the hilt or half-weapon to disarm or inconvenience the other party.

In her spare time she often fences for fun, both to sharpen her mind and technique. She is also comfortable in hand to hand combat, and has had extensive training in various weaponry. This being said, she’s rather awful with axes.

The ceremony was held on his lands, with my family and what was left of his present. After all the formalities were done, his tenants were allowed to come and bring us gifts and blessings. I’ll never forget that, or them. 

They were all so terribly kind to me, this new foreigner in their lives. They wanted him to be happy, most of all. I still have most of the glass baubles they gave us.” 

“...No,” Nath muttered in reply, though it took him a couple seconds’ thought. “Wish I could say the opposite, truly I do.
