in my main AU, the first time cquackity shows up to torture cdream, cdream plays scared to lure him in and then absolutely ROCKS his shit. very nearly kills him, csam has to haul ass to try and save cquackity, and cdream alllllmost gets his ass too. at the last minute, quackity hits dream over the head with a pickaxe and knocks him out. after that, quackity and sam chain him up—arms cuffed behind back, muzzle, retractable chains soldered into the wall which can be adjust to limit his range of motion. in this AU, they only cuff his arms behind his back and give him an ankle chain, because quackity is extra mad and wants to prove that dream isn’t that powerful. surprise surprise, it turns out to be a stupid idea and dream catches him off guard again. this time he tries to tear quackity’s throat out with his teeth, and sam can’t get there before dream does some serious damage. quackity bargains for his life with dream and promises to get him out. now obviously he’s not gonna keep his promise, but while healing he does start to think that torturing dream is a waste of time, and so is just keeping him locked up in his cell. he’s powerful, isn’t he? a great fighter. quackity and sam have made a lot of enemies (the timeline is switched around a little; sam has already kidnapped michael and instead of being put in prison, ctechno, ceret, and ctubbo just killed him), and they and Las Nevadas could be in danger. might be useful to have a guard dog.

in this AU, quackity and sam also already have a Something going on. neither of them would ever call it a ‘relationship.’ but they are banging

aughhhh. honestly they're so weird with each other i think. im trying not to bring the specter of dream and how he haunts them but... he fucking haunts them.

also both sam and quackity have such a bad staring problem. they're always staring at each other, always watching what the other is doing, always analyzing it. and they're soooooo weird about all of it.

but marlene, who usually inks him, is unavailable today and instead, her apprentice will be able to help him. he’s skeptical but he’s already got a few bad impulse tattoos, what’s one more?

barty is crass and insensitive and very fucking smart. he make sirius laugh and sirius finds himself asking about barty’s own tattoos as the man etches into his skin. barty is wicked and he’s damn good with the tattoo gun.

the encounter ends with barty following sirius out for a smoke that has sirius pressed up against the side of the shop in the alleyway, his shirt rucked up and barty’s wicked mouth on his neck.
