#same mentality

What do you think Scarlet Hollow is about? What do you think the characters are like and what do you think happens because I for one have an entirely different idea and vision about things that I’ve heard about than what the actual story is. (You don’t actually have to answer this, I’m just curious and hope you have a great day!)

Oooooo ok, let’s see:

Just a quick disclaimer, I have read the Steam description, so I'm not entirely clueless.

Scarlet Hollow is about some random idiot named Y/N who has to go to this town (same name as the game) for their aunt's funeral. Just like when my family goes to Iowa exclusively when an extended family member gets married or dies, although we didn't get to go the last time someone got married, so it's more when somebody dies.

But anyways your cousin is there! And her name is Tabitha, which is weird because I remember her name being Pearl in the book. Oh I forgot to mention, I have read the book, so I wonder at which point they'll mention that her dad is Icabod Crane and her mom had to wear a red letter A on her shirt for her entire life. Sorry, I guess I'm not as clueless as I originally thought.

Anyways, you have to survive five nights in Scarlet Hollow, but unfortunately the local legend about the headless horseman gets in the way and you have to fight zombies in the Dark Worlds to prevent the Roaring. And you have to catch the monsters and call out all the phonies pretending to be ghosts for publicity. And you date everything. Sounds like a lot of work for a person who hasn't even peed in 72+ hours.

Anyways, I already mentioned Tabitha, but there are so many cool characters in this! For example, we have

Reese E. Peanutbuttercups, who has anxiety and an art studio. Also he's secretly a furry but shhhh don't tell anyone. I think I like him bc he seems pathetic and cute (my type in men).

Stella Richmond is like Nancy Drew, only she's an adult. She has a fugly dog who looks like the pug that lives right by church who my family dubbed "Pugsy." Every time we pass his balcony, I do a dog check. Pugsy value is either 0 or 1, so I guess Stella has this value at 1 because she has a dog.

Ok but slight dead serious tangent for a moment (wdym, this whole thing is serious), I have no idea how I feel about her. And don't get me wrong, it has nothing to do with her as a character. I am sure she is a very well-written character with a very compelling and lovable storyline. It's just that she looks. very similar to myself. Like she is quite literally a much prettier, hotter, more muscular version of me. And ik the traits we share are fairly common, but like. We freaking dress the same, too.

But anyways, next person

Avery is a cool person who runs a coffee shop, like Starbucks if Starbucks was a coffee shop. I know nothing about them other than they might have some sort of fungus or plant problem based purely on some fanart I saw once. I think someone needs to check on them, preferably by going on a date with them.

So I was completely wrong, her name is Kaneeka. What the heck, brain. I hope I remember every other piece of information correctly.

Kaneeka is a craft shop owner who wants to go to college, but she can't afford college (literally just like me fr :'> ) so that's why she's still here. She likes hot and stupid, which is a shame bc I only meet one of those criteria, and I don't know where I would find a school of hotness. Oh well.

Oscar Dreemur is the divorced dad of some girl I don't know anything about other than she exists. He works at the library because the county wants him to. I think he was eaten by sharks? That's all I got on him.

Oh, and last but not least there's Wayne. He's weird and also likes burgers. I think he's nocturnal.

Then there's a bunch of side characters, like Guy on the Bus, Angry Coal Workers, Reese's mom, and Human Toriel Witch Lady with Tea. There could be more. but I don't know them.

There might be a mayor, and you might be able to talk to alpacas. You also might be able to see ghosts. You can definitely talk to animals and be hot.

Aaaand I think that's all I know. Sorry I can't be completely clueless, but at least I'll know what to expect going into the chapter 1 demo. Which I plan on trying out soon. I'll keep you posted.
