so. I enjoy listening to music by a Japanese rock band named The GazettE, and I swear, there’s this one song of theirs...

I jam out to it every time, but there’s this one little lyric that’s always thrown me off. I swear—the lyrics sound like: “Shut the f*** up Ted Cruz.”

And, I giggle. But I know that surely, those aren’t the lyrics right?

So I look it up, and it’s really “Shut the f*** up jack a**.” Do with that what you will.

Their music is really poetic, though. Mind you, the following is a translation, but here’s a few bits from the same song, “Vortex”:
