>Morrigan is the kid who says her major is “undeclared” even well into her senior year, what the fuck is she even majoring in, nobody knows. She always seems to have the best luck with registration and always gets into the classes she wants, even as a freshman. Despite the fact she never seems to study, she always aces every test. Most people hate her, but legit all she cares about is ROTC so she doesn’t really give a shit.

>Felix is the nervous foreign exchange student with powerful parents who sometimes send agents to spy on him and make sure he’s doing his homework. He’s always doing his homework, so there’s nothing to worry about. Has a furious crush on Morrigan and attempts to get into all her same classes, except he has terrible luck with registration and very seldom actually gets to share a class with her. When he does, he always offers to study with her and thinks he’s very subtle (he’s not).

>Hunter is the ROTC scholarship kid who is barely skidding through school on caffeine and the sheer adrenaline of almost missing a class. Never seems to be able to remember his class schedule, never seems to grasp the point of class, not very good at academics, but just manages to be good enough. Is the RA for Morrigan’s dorm and is extremely long-suffering.

>Nobbins is the quiet kid always wearing sunglasses in the back of the class. You forget he’s there until the professor calls on him, whereupon he immediately regurgitates everything the professor wants to know in extensive details. Nobody is sure about the exact extent of his knowledge, but sometimes you think you can hear snoring coming from his seat.

If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so?

Hans would probably blush and start to stutter. Although growing up in Germany in the 20s has left him with much more exposure to other sexualities than someone in other parts of the world, his own sex-aversion left him unwilling to discuss or explore it. He wouldn’t have a concept of “asexual” so he’d probably say he was attracted to women (mostly out of fear), but he’d have a hard time convincing anyone.

Glückskind has a late medieval Austrian concept of sexuality! She doesn’t view “sexuality” as a part of her identity and would be very confused if people asked her about it as such.

Morrigan underwent a HUGE change: originally she was extremely pale and waifish, with big eyes and a ski slope nose and then I was like oh wow no thanks and decided a few years ago to change all that to better reflect someone who spends a lot more time out in the sun in the environment I had planned for her country and was more of a badass. 

2. How easy is it for your character to laugh?

Hans is a shy smiler much more than he is a laugher, he tends not to make noise unless he can’t help it. When drunk he becomes extremely giggly. Most of the time, it’s only through a lot of goading that he can go from smile to laughing.

Uli will laugh at the slightest provocation--he laughs at everything from the misfortunes of others to his own jokes. He also snorts.
