> Be better than what we were. His parents were always encouraging, despite how bad their situation had gotten at times. Truth be told, growing up without much is exactly what shaped Sam into the kind, caring, and loyal male that he turned out to be.

> Growing up with dyslexia was a struggle, but with the loving support of his family and those around him, he conquered the disability and did well in school. Of course, his grades weren’t anything compared to those around him, except for history. Turns out, his lame impressions of past historical figures made it easy to remember their names on exams.

> It was his athletic scholarship that made college possible, but what the scholarship didn’t cover, his financial aid did. Well, almost. He picked up a few side jobs around campus to pay for what little money he owed to the school, but cleaning dishes for the cafeteria isn’t something he’s too proud of. Still, it gives him a little extra money to spend when he needs it.
