Not gonna be working on this much just yet but I got seized by the idea and had to doodle some panels. These were the most coherent panels from that frenzy.

Complete surprise album release today. The production and mixing is top top top tier which is to be expected. This was not thrown together and I'm sure required incredible planning to release completely unnoticed and also in the middle of the day, only someone like Kendrick could do something like that with these streaming services. I love the features on this, everyone here makes sense and there are some new-er artists to me, SZA, Deyra Barrera, Ink, Wallie the Sensei, AzChike, Hitta J, Sam Dew, Dody 6, Siete, Peysoh, Young Threat. I've only listened to this two times so far; this will again require multiple listens to fully grasp the full complexity. So far, I think this is a great add after Mr. Morale and the 'heart' series that he put out this summer. It still feels unique to LA and in that classic K Dot. Thank you, Kendrick.

Produced four songs, rapped on two of them (really one verse, one hook), and having his own interlude. My agenda of Baby Keem don’t miss is continuing to be validated.

Kodak Black having a feature on the album was a little bit surprising. I wasn’t expecting to hear him as a narrator or having his own interlude as well. But it’s not really a surprise when you think about it. Kodak is respected as a rapper and having an amazing catalog amongst other rappers and fans. You factor in the potential indirect connection with the Israelite faith, it was possible that the Kendrick & Kodak collab was bound to happen.
