#salon things

Awee I went to pick up shampoo and visit the salon I used to work at and everyone was so sweet and excited to see me!! They even gave me the discount still! And one of the regulars was there and complimented me plus Alison asked me to come back again 😭 I was telling her how I’m slowly working on my g2 and will come more often once I have it then she got so excited and was like you can work some shifts! Maybe every other Saturday or if Jen wants a day off and went on and on about it and how she’ll call me ahah it was so cute 🙈💞

Ps. I also did my boss’ root retouch on Saturday but I forgot to wear gloves hence why my hand is so red in that last photo I posted 😇

I had another really bad back day but on the bright side I made a lot of tips, received a few compliments and Michelle was able to tone my hair at the end of my shift too! 💁🏼 and now my boss is texting me asking how it looks and to send her a picture, she’s so cute aha and now we’re talking hair I love my little work family so much 🙈💞

I’ve basically spent the entire last week with both of my sisters (and their pets) so I couldn’t be happier 🙈 I also saw my friends and went out for a late lunch with them after work yesterday 🍜 and although the salon was insane, I had a really great shift ─ my boss kept thanking me and calling me her right hand girl!! 💗 plus my back wasn’t horrible even though I did two rough drys and countless shampoos! 💁🏼✨

Oh my gooooooooodnesss I think I just made a new friend at work, but she lives on like the other side of Canada 🙆🏼 she had never died her hair before and then went vibrant purple all over and it looks unreal she was freaking out and almost cried bc she loved it so much and she’s just so adorable omfg 🙈 she’s actually the cutest thing ever though, such an absolute sweetheart and she even gave me a huge hug too 👯💜

Yesterday I got to dye my boss’ extensions again 🙊 then after work I went out for a late lunch with a close friend, we even ran into our other friend at the cafe!! It was so nice to catch up with him & so nice to see her too! 💗💗 I woke up just in time to catch the prettiest sunrise this morning ⛅️ but my back is still bothering me a lot so I’ve basically just been medicating and laying down today, plus I read a bit and had a lovely lavender bath 🌾🙏🏼🐚

Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts!! 💞🙏🏼 work was thankfully slow, my coworkers were helping me, plus I only had to shampoo a few times and was able to sit a lot :$ Also, Alison (my boss) asked me to dye her extensions again!! 🙌🏼 I don’t think I’ve even posted those photos from the other times months ago! 🙈🙈 but this time we were experimenting with putting different ratios of blue over the purple ombré 💜
