From past experiences have I learned that the front side of vamponies can be bitey.
From today's experience, I am reminded that the back side can also provide a less than comfortable experience.
Perhaps next friendship approach vector should be from the flank?

A height comparison of the Arctorian Syndicate leading quartet~ I really should have used a height comparison tool, though. Really I just wanted to illustrate roughly who was tallest and who was smallest, as well as get their colors down, so I just grabbed the complete poses from the sketches anyway.
Tytrixan Salizar is the tallest, but not by a whole lot over Tuapterran Katarina. Kat has about a head over Vipaerten Selina/Circe, and little Possadaw Aureline is the smallest.
And not to brag on myself or anything, but I really do like the idea of making Salizarās chest plumage into a ācravatā type thing. c: I do wish I had taken the time to look for the pistol models from the film so I could have put one in Katās holster, though. But suffice it to say she does have one and Zen just forgot to draw it? xD Iāve also never been so stinkinā happy with an anthropomorphic form for Kat as I am with this one! And sheās had a few! lol Colored lines are hard. o3o Leastways, the method I used made it seem so. Thereās gotta be another way that doesnāt leave a one-pixel-wide stroke around the color blocks when setting the line layer to something like Overlay.
But yeah! Finally something with some color!Ā
And last of the core group of the Arctorian Syndicate, Salizar~
Alien!Salizar is a Tytrixan, a species thatās up at all hours of the day, depending on which subspecies they are as well as their personal habits. Salizar himself is crepuscular, but his particular subspecies is nocturnal. Others are diurnal. At first glance, a Tytrixanās face looks familiarly owlish to humans and aliens who know what an owl is. But in truth, their beak is only a small part of their larger, fanged, potoo-like mouth. They use it to swallow meal items whole.
For Salizar, he uses his toothy mouth as a threat display, coupled with the keening vocals unique to his subspecies, to scare those who may not have met a Tytrixan before. Otherwise, heās the unassuming accountant and adviser to his Tuapterran boss. He helps run the business sides of things, coming from a merchant family (which later curried good favor with the Syndicate). The hubbub of the spaceport is a familiar noise and routine to him, and he navigates it as well as any spacer does the Etherium.
Felt like givinā my mafioso vampire some spotlight~ Out of the entire upper echelon of Acheron Iāve drawn before, Salizar InglesĆ© is the one Iāve least talked about. To my own shame, really; heās just as important as Circe and Aureline are!

Salizar - pirates of the Caribbean Dead men tell no tales
Image produced for the mpc art department. I came on the show very late on and was asked to do a paintover to define the look of the characters hair and missing skull to help with the post production process.. A plate with the actor in makeup was provided.

I meant to finish and post this one before the batches started going out, but then I got distracted and lost interest in this particular sketch. Ā So it is incomplete, but enjoy anyways. This is one of my two Poltigan Lavern characters, a beast with two souls dwelling in the same body. Ā These two are almost always in a battle of the wills, even during their development, which has caused their bodies to have two different colorations on either side with a little bit of bleeding. Ā Salizar is the one on the right side of the body (mouth closed), who expresses more of a white coloration, very little marking except some slight rusty haze to the eye spots on the feathers, and has a deep red smoke. Ā His soul is more broken, and thus he is tempted more by the trademark hunger that plagues most poltigans. Ā The hunger goes well with his initial personality, willing and wanting to cause mental and physical harm to others simply to watch them squirm without any real rhyme or reason. Ā His ruthless tendencies hail from his previous life, in which his actions had gotten him executed. Kookar on the left side of the body (mouth open) is a brindled red/brown/black coloration, with some more expressive blues and greens in the eye spots on the feathers, and has a smoke that alternates between a hazy grey blue, reddish tan and a deep navy color. Ā His soul is more complete and he has more control over his hunger and often keeps Salizar from causing utter chaos, although, Kookar expresses some heavy detachment and personality disorders which can in some occasions, totally change his disposition. Ā Normally contemplative and constantly manipulating things to his advantage, coming off as cold. Ā There are times when he can appear kind, and then suddenly become cruel and manipulative, or explosive. Ā His previous life and cause of death is unknown. Artur Salizar ā Francaiba (Agent 47 Remix) on Only Trance
Around a month ago venezuelan producer Agent 47Ā released his first production at Only Trance Records, a progressive trance remix for Artur Salizar's summery 'Francaiba', which evokes the nostalgic classic sound without speeding the pace too much, managing to keep it chill with a deep and hypnotic atmosphere, a combination that has been getting good reactions and even plays at Johan Ekman's and other known DJ's radio shows.
