I love how extremely positive you are. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever seen you get into an argument or discourse or someone trying to drag you into discourse and drama. I like how you’re a drama free blog who doesn’t get involved with the tumblr discourse or tumblr politics or whatever. You just come here to reblog memes, fangirl over fictional crushes, and have harmless fun.

Shiroe’s reaction was cute as hell. Our first was a complete surprise, unlike Hiroshi who was planned. The twins were a surprise for us, but they were beautiful surprises that we were so excited for. When I told him that he was going to be a dad, he was beside himself and the happiest I’ve ever seen him. He wouldn’t stop telling everyone we met, which was literally the cutest thing in the world. It was the gift that we didn’t realize we needed at that moment in our lives.

Shiroe was, of course, nervous as hell to be a father, though. The first couple of years were tough because he was anxious and scared that he wasn’t going to be a good enough parent to his kids. Which, I was the same way, I was worried that I wouldn’t be the best mother. But we learned a lot, and Shiroe prepared himself by literally staying up for hours reading parenting books and just wanting to know exactly what he needed to be ready for. But there’s nothing to prepare you for when they actually arrived.

We were happy, of course. Just given that we both overthink really easilly it showed. But I can’t even express the love that our babies feel every day. Shiroe was and is the best husband, and does his part just like I do mine with them. Ariana and Sage, being twins were double the care, but we ended up like pros after they were out of their toddler years. And since they were amazing kids, it wasn’t so bad once we got the hang of things together. We work as a team, and I couldn’t have been luckier to have him.
