It wasn’t surprising that Aries would point out his sword, as it typically tended to be the first thing that caught most people’s attention. He had learned accept that it’d bring attention if he brought a weapon nearly everywhere he went.

What was surprising, was when the other saiyan asked if he could teach her how to use it.

The result would end with the time traveler blinking a few times, surprised by the sudden request. After a few moments of weighing his options, he’d give her a nod, as he couldn’t see much harm in it.

So! I've been talking a lot lately (when I can) about Trunks getting stronger and climbing the Saiyan Transformation Ladder, and that's still very, very relevant. It covers some parts of her character that I've touched on before but never really delved into.

Trunks, first of all, hates being recognised as a saiyan. She's human too, and considers herself more human than saiyan. By embracing the other half of herself (even if it makes her feel even more like an alien on her own planet) and kind of getting over herself, she'll begin to accept and like herself even more.

Next, Trunks considers her Super Saiyan transformation as proof of her failure to save her world with Gohan. She only got powerful enough to help him once he was already dead. I've given Trunks SSJ3 through yet another traumatic death (though that moment might have been retconned... But the transformation remains). Trunks is afraid of getting new transformations. A new transformation means someone else is dead again and it's her fault. That's how she sees it in her head, and she tries to convince herself that she's strong enough as is, or that time travel can solve any problem she finds that she can't handle. I want her to let go of that fear and find new ways around training and transforming so she can propel herself forward rather than staying in place and feeling restless and scared.

There's also a mentoring aspect to it; my Trunks doesn't mentor, nor does she take training mentors, because she doesn't consider herself particularly helpful or anything that people can't get from anyone else, and because she can't face a repeat of what happened with Gohan. She needs to let go of that fear and that low opinion of herself as well.

And I think climbing the transformation ladder is the way to get her on that path.

Trunks was not a stranger to meeting saiyans, though he was certain he knew of all the remaining ones in his timeline, that being Vegeta and Goku and the hybrids of their respective families. However, as he wandered the planet Earth, the distinct energy sensation that was distinctly saiyan, and yet, not coming from anyone familiar.

To his surprise, it was coming from a young woman he saw working as he entered a restaurant in a city that been long gone in his own time. He didn’t believe it at first, as she certainly didn’t seem like a saiyan, as the position didn’t seem like one for a traditionally battle hungry race, and brushed it off for now. Instead, he would approach her, and decide to do as he originally intended, and get a meal.

The fact that he was alone was the only reason he was trying this again, or at least the fact that he thought he was alone. Closing his eyes, breathing in and out slowly, he summoned his energy, his power, letting it build and build, exploding through him rather quickly. 

The first thing that he did was enter Super Saiyajin, that he could control easily enough at this point, so focused on this and trying to control it that he didn’t even notice the presence coming up on him.

A loud yell filled the area, the energy from his yell alone enough to move mountains and shatter almost everything for miles in every direction, to anyone whom didn’t have a rather large amount of power they would be blown away as well. 

The fact that Aries was seeing this form for the first time, a form that she seemed to all but idolize and worship, well she would probably be fangirling.

The fact that he only lost control for about thirty seconds was a miracle in his mind, he finally had control, shaky control but control. Opening his mouth and screaming he let out a single blast, straight up and away from anyone whom could be harmed, the pulse of the energy alone was insane, but.....when he closed his mouth the entire thing vanished. 

“Control....Kusu and Vadosu-sama will be proud.”

majora absolutely keeps his door locked, despite liking most of his neighbors just fine. it comes about from living in a communal setting– some complaints and petty annoyances are inevitable, i think, and he doesn’t trust any of them enough to just leave the door to his room open to where anyone could just waltz in. he keeps it locked when he’s home, as well

to the best of his abilities, he does. the most important thing to him is that everything stays in its Place, bc he has his room mapped out in his head, which is how he avoids obstacles and such (to the point that he doesn’t really need his hands or other senses to guide him)
