Trunks discovered the trans flag on one of her future visits and was amazed to find that so many flags and queer history existed that were pretty much snuffed out in her timeline. Bulma didn’t know a great deal about all the flags before everything went up in flames, but with a reference from Trunks, she embroidered a trans flag patch onto Trunks’ jacket, on the right side opposite the Capsule Corp logo.
Trunks knows that not everyone will understand, but it’s a piece of human history and pride for her to carry around.

As Trunks awoke from her mandated nap. There was a note for her along with some water. 'Hope this makes you feel better Love.'
She drank greedily, every sip feeling like life returning to her body, like a senzu bean for her soul. She gasped heavily afterwards; she had took the water in a bit too quickly.
As for the note... She folded it up and tucked it into her jacket pocket before she left to get back to work, tracing the edge absentmindedly with her finger as a small smile made its way subconsciously to her lips.

She was strong. It was always a good reminder of that. When she set him down, he jumped back up and wrapped his legs around her hips to keep himself propped up. He didn’t want down just yet.
“Nothing that you don’t already deal with. But if it didn’t keep me alive with a job, I’d have more room to complain about Her Timeliness not doing anything.”
Oh right, there was something he’s been wanting to say for awhile.
“And I think we’re getting our second Future Warrior soon. Trunks said it was someone I knew… but if it’s that fucking pharaoh, I’ll be shitting bricks.”
“Oh?” Now that was interesting. “Another person from your past?”
Trunks knew a thing or two about seeing people again. People who, by all means, she never should have met. People who she would have rather stayed dead and gone. Bakura’s own past was just as messy as many others, perhaps more so in several respects. She could only imagine the trepidation he could be feeling.
“Sounds like it could get messy. I know that if Shadow ever got someone back from his past, it could really mess with his mind. Then again, it feels like we get a brand new hero every week. Everyone is so gung-ho about being the best around.”
A good thing, she knew. If anything ever were to happen to her, there would be countless others ready to jump in. But in all honesty, the thought was far from comforting.
