Itsuki quietly hissed as the bright, gaudy light immediately attacked his eyes. He resisted the urge to move his hand up to shield them, instead keeping it on the limousine door as he opened it. Very carefully, he stepped out, getting a better look at the venue’s exterior as he did so. The party being held in this building alone probably cost more than he made in a few years.. He had definitely been to dozens of expensive places as a result of his job, but none such as this. It was less his clients couldn’t afford it and more so that they weren’t exactly the type of characters who’d benefit from flaunting a male escort around. One thing Itsuki could appreciate about these rare treats was that he didn’t have to wear his usual get up. He could wear a nice, fancy suit and feel like a big-shot for a few hours. Though, around his latest client, he felt less like a big-shot and more like a trophy husband; He supposed that was the point.

Normally, he wasn’t allowed to go to any sort of foreign venue without some sort of supervisor to check drinks and make sure he was generally safe, but because of the circumstances ( and undoubtedly the price that was payed ) he got to be independent when he was out with her. Which meant he could drink some of the fancy wines rich people were always flaunting! Well, a little, because he needed to be sober enough to put on an act. This bright light was not helping his tipsiness at all, but in spite of it, Itsuki extended his hand into the dimness of the car, offering to help his “ girlfriend “ out in proper chivalry fashion.

“ Careful, Hika-chan. It’s a big step, “ He shot her a grin, committing to his character now that they were officially in public.
