So, if I opened drabble requests in July for a bit, would you guys be interested? It would be OP and SnK, both gen and ship, but only simple one-two word prompts (say "Mihawk at Baratie" or "Jean/Mikasa highschool AU")

These are the goddesses that Sakura Five have inside them right? (Exclude Kazuradrop since her two goddesses are still unknown aside from Muryan)
Artemis
Leviathan
Sarasvati/Benzaiten
Parvati + Durga
Brynhild
Medusa
Melusine
Apsara
Titania
Airavata
Tiamat
On pure technicality we can argue every mother earth goddess but like I don't care enough about that damn theory to bother. So- let's take it piece by piece.
Melt is made up of Artemis, Leviathan, and Sarasvati. Benzaiten is more an offshot of Saravati and Durga (to my understanding). You may also notice that Leviathan isn't...really a 'goddess'. Since Leviathan is...weird. There's the whole connection to Lotan, and the similarities to Tiamat and Marduk, and the general "great hero defeats the [dragon] that is a manifestation of disaster" to consider as well. For some reason the Type Moon wiki claims "[Leviathan] is considered female by all" (even though I'm pretty sure before the Book of Enoch Leviathan was referred to as male but whatever I guess) despite you know, the Leviathan (Penguin with the bow tie) we see in Summer Melt is referred to as male...But whatever we know the Type Moon wiki is a disaster.
Passionlip is made up of Parvati, Durga, and Brynhildr. Now, you may have noticed two of these are sorta an overlap. I mean that in that Durga is considered (to my understanding) to be a form of Parvati. Now, we know this doesn't really stop anything since even in Fate they can manifest separately. It is interesting to note however, because she is the only one to have this overlap. Now onto the next bit, is Brynhildr a goddess? I...guess? I honestly am not sure. TM considers the Valkyrie as Divine Spirits so for this I'll count her as one?
KP is ...fucking weird. So we have Tiamat, Titania (Titan) who is....all the daughters of the titans? That's where Shakespeare got it so?? And then there's Airavata who is not a goddess?? That is a whole ass male elephant??? (or i guess a serpent if its the Mahabhrata reading). But that's where her whole NP comes from so I guess the elephant is trans now???
Violet has Medusa, Apsara (singular?? for some reason?? or just all of them???), and Melusine. So; we all have Medusa, in Fate she is a confirmed goddess (we can debate her in the real world later), the (entire) Apsara are, yes, goddesses. Melusine....is not the one from the lostbelt. Sorry, in GHH (Greater Human History), Melusine is more her mythological half-fairy dragon mermaid woman. I don't even think by TM's standards you can call that a goddess but I guess half-fairy is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Then we have Kazuradrop who is Muryan, and who the fuck actually knows the rest. But here's the thing- Muryan is...a type of fairy. It's not singular. So this is; just Barghestââ and Baobhan Sith all over again.
I hate it here. Like 5 of these people here aren't goddesses and we have like 3 different multiples; but I guess everything is a goddess when we use the earth mother goddess theory????
To celebrate, I've decided to open drabble requests for today only! These would only be up to 500 words so keep it simple please đ€ (and no smut as always, thank you ahaha)

âââââ
If Baby 5 had one fear, it was being unneeded, then tossed aside.
Her very first memory was her mother hitting her, yelling at her about eating too much food, about being one more mouth to feed. How she should have tossed her into the canyon the moment she was born.Â
She spent the first few years of her life hungry, feeling the disdainful stares of her tribe members, her family, on her wherever she went.
They didnât need her, didnât want her, didnât like her. She was nothing but a burden to them.
And then, they abandoned her.
What was she to do? What was she supposed to feel? What was the point of living?
And yet, she couldnât help but cling to life, to the hope that one day, someone would love her like her mother never did.
That was how the Young Master found her.
Lost and alone, stumbling through the streets of a poor, dirty, half-abandoned city on her home islandâan island whose name she never even learned.
âYou lost, kid?â he asked as he towered over her.
She cowered under his gaze, intimidated by his height and commanding presence. Still, she shook her head, opening her mouth to quietly reply, âNo. I donât have anyone. Or anywhere to be.â
He hummed, looking her up and down for a moment. âYou can come with me. If youâre not scared of some pirates, that is.â
Her mouth falling open, the lost little girl that she used to be felt her heart jump in her chest, beating faster than it had in years, her mind racing with questions. He wanted her to come with him? If she went with him, would he abandon her like her mother did? Would they call her useless again? Discard her like a shattered clay pot?
She didnât know.
She didnât know anything.
But, she did know that if she stayed where she was now, in the dust and dirt and drought, she would die. Alone.
Maybe, if she became useful⊠they might come to need her. If she went with this man, maybe, just maybe, she might finally find her place in the world. Might find someone who would finally, finally love her.
She had nothing to lose, and so she followed.
If her mother taught her anything, it was that being useful was all that mattered if you wished to be tolerated, welcomed, accepted. As she trotted after the man who led her to his giant, strange-looking shipâshe assumed it was shaped as some kind of bird, but it was one sheâd never seen beforeâ, as she listened intently to him explain what was expected of her, the lost little girl became certain.
If she became an officer, she knew she would be indispensable. If she became strong and loyal and useful⊠these pirates would need her and accept her. And then, love her for who she was.
Now, years later, Baby 5 was left to wonder whether she even knew that.
As she watched those very same pirates being led away in chains, the ruins of the Kingdom of Dressrosa as the backdrop to the Familyâsâher familyâsâdownfall, Lao Gâs words echoed in her head over and over again.
âShe would kill herself if she thought someone needed it! Where do you find a woman that useful?!â
Useful.
She was nothing more than that.
She was only trying to help. She only wanted to be needed.
At twenty-four years old, she became that hungry, broken, lost little girl once more.
Did the others think about her the same way? Was the Young Master only using her for what she was, for what she feared? Did Diamante only care about her devil fruit? Or Buffalo about her moneyâthe money she didnât have, yet always lent him?
What did she do wrong?
âYou stay close to me.â
Baby 5 jumped at the sudden words. It took her a second to remember where she was right now, and who she was with; she blinked, looking around as if seeing the ruins of Dressrosa for the first time. How long had she been out of it? The procession of her captured⊠family was almost gone now, the sounds of peopleâs cheers much quieter, the dust settled.
Suppressing a squeal at the memory of Saiâs⊠proposal, Baby 5 quickly shuffled closer to his side, hugging his arm tightly.Â
âYes, darling!â she said enthusiastically, a giggle on her lips.
Immediately, Sai jerked in surprise, pulling away slightly as he turned to look at her with wide eyes. âStop clinging to me, woman!â
Baby 5 beamed up at him, watching as Saiâs expression turned from shock to resignation to neutral as his body slowly relaxed once againânot shaking her off, instead letting her scoot even closer.Â
A feeling of happiness spread through Baby 5's chest as she rested her head on Saiâs shoulder; it was strong enough that she almost forgot about the ball of darkness still swirling underneath, eating at her.
Silence settled over them for a moment, the exhaustion from everything that had happened over the course of this whole day weighing on the both of them. Yet, it seemed like something heavy was hanging in the air; making Baby 5 wonder whether she was annoying him after all. Should she let go? Or wait? Would he tell her if he wanted her to leave? What could she do for him so that he would let her stay?
âYouâre trembling again,â Sai said quietly, making Baby 5 jerk; she didnât even realise. âStop overthinking. You donât have to bottle up everything inside. Iâd rather you tell me straight if somethingâs bothering you.â
Baby 5 blinked, her mouth falling open without her consent. She had never considered voicing her worries. Was that⊠really okay?
They stared at each other for a moment, Sai searching her eyes for something. For what, she didnât know. She had never had someone look at her this way; she had no idea how to interpret it. Yet, she nodded all the same.
âGood,â Sai huffed with a nod of his own, before he turned his gaze away.
Inadvertently, Baby 5âs hold on Saiâs arm tightenedâand still, Sai let her.
They sat in silence for a long time, watching the impromptu festivities that took over the destroyed country of Dressrosa together. Baby 5 couldnât remember the last time her mind was so calm.
âââââ
âDarling! Iâve got your breakfast!â Baby 5 called as she skipped through the large hall in the Dressrosa Royal Castle that the allied forces had been using as accommodations.
The smile on Baby 5âs face widened as she sat down on the floor next to him, presenting him with a large plate of scrambled eggs, a sausage, a stack of pancakes, cut vegetables, several slices of fresh bread, one cup of juice, water, and a steaming tea each. After all, she wasnât yet sure what Sai preferred to drink with his breakfast!
Sai stared at it all for a moment, blinking once, twice, before looking up at the plate Bartolomeo was holdingâone decidedly more modest, a single slice of bread with some ham and cheese. The simple meal that the castle provided the warriors with.
âWhy exactly am I having something completely different and why is there so damn much more than everyone else has? Aside from Cabbage?â he asked finally, glancing at Baby 5 suspiciously.
âI cooked for you, of course!â Baby 5 declared proudly.
Closing his eyes, Sai took a deep breathâthough not before shooting a glare at Bartolomeo who had nearly choked on his bread while trying to suppress a laugh.
Baby 5 wasnât sure what he found so funnyÂ
âBaby 5, you⊠Whyââ He paused, rubbing his face in something akin to frustration and Baby 5 felt her stomach sink.
âDo you hate it? Do you not like eggs? Or pancakes? Did you want coffee instead?â
âNo, itâs justââ He stopped suddenly, shaking his head. âIt looks great. Thanks.â
âWhat a cute couple,â Ideo muttered as he hid a smirk behind a mug.
Nodding solemnly, Bartolomeo agreed, âRight? Should just get married already.â
âFuck off!â Sai snapped, his face burning red as he threw a teaspoon at the Cannibal.
âââââ
Over the course of the next few days, Baby 5 learned many things.
As she stood on the deck of the huge Yonta Maria, watching proudly as Sai and the other six men drank their âSonâs cupsââmuch to Straw Hatâs chagrinâ, Baby 5 was surprised by the easy, happy smile that pulled on her lips.
And, past that, she was surprised she didnât feel guilty for it. For smiling. For feeling happy.
She had lost the only family she had ever known mere days ago, yet here she was. Surrounded by warmth and laughter and joy, letting the ever-present feeling of victory creep up to her heart. She was supposed to be on the losing side. She shouldnât be celebrating.
And yet, she didnât feel sad.
She didnât feel guilty or wrong or out of place.
In only a few days, she had started to realise that maybe, the Family hadnât been the best place for her.
In only a few days, she had felt more respect and care than she had ever had before.
The people who were supposed to be her enemies had shown her things she had never felt, never experienced in her life. Theyâd already given her so much; she needed to make herself as useful as possible! More useful than she was to the Young Master and the others!
Nodding to herself, Baby 5âs smile widened, new-found resolve coursing through her veins.
âI really donât like that smile youâre giving me,â Sai muttered as he approached her.
Before she could so much as turn around, however, a hand on her shoulder stopped her.
âCalm down, young lady. Iâve got you covered,â Boo said with some undeniable amusementâamusement that Baby 5 didnât understandâ, as he showed her the large bottle of sake that he was holding.
Baby 5 gasped as Boo poured everyone a cup, including her. She was confused; wasnât she supposed to be the one doing this? She needed to be of help, she needed to be usefulâ
âYou okay? You need to breathe, Five.â Saiâs voice was full of concern as one of his hands came up to touch her elbow gently. âYou look like youâre about to pass outâŠâ
âIâm fine!â Baby 5 replied immediately, and maybe a bit too loudly. âDonât worry about me, darling! IâllâIâll just bring you all some food orââ
âOi oi oiâŠâ
âHiyahoho! Cheers!â Chinjao called, interrupting whatever it was that Sai was trying to say to her by raising his cup in between them, waiting for them all to raise their own cups.
A brief thought flashed through Baby 5âs mind thenâa question of whether he was trying to distract them, to distract her from letting her mind run away from her. It was something that Boo had mentioned to her last night. That his grandfather may seem scary but he cared deeply about his grandchildren, and he had a knack for knowing when they needed something to focus on other than their thoughts.
AhâŠ
What a foolish thought. It wasnât like she was Chinjaoâs grandchild, or someone whom he would wish to help. She was just someone who had forced her way into the Happosuiâs life. She was his enemy mere days ago, after all.
âFive, seriouslyâŠâ
âHuh?â Baby 5 blinked a few times, until her eyes finally focused on Saiâs complicated expression.
Before she could so much as ask what she could do for him, Saiâs hand closed around her wrist, and he announced they were going to grab some food. For a split second, Baby 5 saw the knowing look that Chinjao and Boo exchanged, but she didnât have the time to decipher it before Sai pulled her away. She struggled against his hold a little, but her weak protestsâshe could go grab anything Sai wanted, he didnât need to go anywhere himself, she could do it for him! Just tell her what he was in the mood for!âwent largely ignored.Â
âDarling, I canâyou donât have toâI meanââ
Suddenly, Sai stopped walking.
Barely avoiding crashing into him, Baby 5 blinked, looking around herself. They were nowhere near the food and really, nowhere near anything. It looked like Sai had taken her to a secluded corner of the Yonta Maria, away from all the crowds and cheer and noise. Mind full of confusion, Baby 5 looked up at Sai questioningly, but he refused to meet her eyes. In fact, he was looking anywhere but her, the smallest blush finding its way to his cheeks. He looked so embarrassed, so adorable, that Baby 5 couldnât hold back her squeal.
âWhâWhat are you screaming for?!â
A giggle on her lips, Baby 5 simply shook her head, making Sai look at her even more awkwardly until a deep sigh escaped him.
âWhatever. Five, we need to talk.â
And just like that, all happiness and joy drained from her body.
Was this when he would tell her to leave? That she was useless?
Closing her eyes, the lost little girl willed herself not to cry.
âFive, you need to relax. You donât have to do anything for anyone anymore. Youâre perfectly fine just being.â
Baby 5âs eyes snapped open. She stared up at Sai like she was seeing him for the first time, full of confusion and wonder.Â
âIâI meanââ Sai cleared his throat, trying again. âI told you before, youâve been getting it all wrong. You donât have to be âusefulâ to anyone, ever, to be worth keeping around. Just be you. Got it?â
Saiâs eyes were still dancing around, avoiding even glancing at Baby 5. The blush on the manâs cheeks was now undeniable as it shone brighter than ever.
In response, Baby 5 felt heat rising to her own cheeks. She wasnât sure why she was so embarrassedâespecially since she wasnât sure she even properly understood what Sai was saying. What did he mean, she didnât have to be useful? What would be the point of keeping her around then? And past thatâŠ
What did âjust being meâ mean?
Who was she? Was there even a âmeâ for her?
Didnât âsheâ die in the desert all those years ago, life escaping her small body as her mother walked away, leaving just the shell of a lost little girl behind?
Baby 5 startled as Sai heaved a deep sigh before he finally looked at her. âYou donât have to be so scared anymore. We donât expect anything from you.â He paused for a second before shaking his head a little bit, then finally raising one hand to brush Baby 5âs hair behind her ear. âYouâre with us because we want you to be safe and happy. Not because we want anything from you. Okay?â
Biting on her bottom lip, Baby 5 willed the tears that welled in her eyes to stay where they were. She wasnât even sure why she felt like crying all of a sudden; it wasnât crippling fear or sadness, more like⊠relief?
She didnât understand.
And yetâŠ
She didnât hate the feeling.
Of all the reasons to cry, she might like this one the most.
As a small laugh passed through her lips, Baby 5 nodded a few times. âOkay! I got it, darling.â
âDo you?â Sai asked doubtfully, but otherwise didnât argue. âAs long as you understand youâre not anyoneâs maid anymore⊠Though we might want to start with getting you clothes that donât make you look the part.â
âHuh?! You want to go clothes shopping with me?!â Baby 5 squealed, her heart skipping a beat or five in excitement.
âThatâs not what I said! Stop jumping to conclusions, woman!â
With a carefree laugh on her lips, Baby 5 skipped over to Saiâs side, hugging his arm tightly. She ignored Saiâs mumble of âYou didnât hear a word I said just now, did you?â, simply taking a moment to soak up the happiness she felt in that moment.
Sai stared at her blankly for a few seconds, a small frown on his face as an inner battle of some kind raged in his mind, before he shook his head and sighed in defeat. âYou can keep cooking once in a while. The food you make is deliciousâŠâ
âOkay!!â
Closing his eyes for a moment, Sai grumbled to himself something along the lines of âOne day. One day, sheâll get it. For sure.âÂ
Baby 5 wasnât sure what he meant but in that moment, she didnât care much. What she did care about was the feeling of freedom and happiness that suddenly hit her, letting her breathe that much easier; almost as if some weight had let up, or something that had been squeezing her entire being released its grasp the smallest bit.Â
The feeling didnât leave her even once they rejoined the party. It stayed with her as they kept clinking their cups with everyone they passed by, as they chatted with people while eating, as she leaned into Saiâs side, as he wrapped his arm around her waist.
It stayed even once they ran into Law, the man staring at her blankly for a good minute before asking what the hell she was doing there.
âWhat the hell are you doing here?! Shouldnât you be dead right now after challenging the Young Master?â
It only took a split second for Lawâs vicious glare to get to her.
And yet, even as she curled into Saiâs side, hiding from Lawâs wrathâŠ
She never felt lighter or happier in her whole life.

âââââ
Walking around the New Yearâs festival in Kano Countryâs capital with his wife was somewhat of a challenge. Sai hadnât expected it to be easy to begin with; even after all these months, Baby 5 was still struggling with her own worth and fear of abandonment.
He didnât expect it to be easy⊠but you never realise just how many vendors are out there shouting âtry our dumplings!â and âplay our game!â until you have to actively stop your flustered wife from following every single one of them. After two hours, Sai had lost count of how many times he had to stop in his tracks and run back to save his wife (and her debt-riddled wallet) from the clutches of someone whose invitations Saiâs ears completely failed to even register.
It was honestly ridiculous how all these shady characters seemed to always circle around her like vultures. Almost like his wife was wearing a big red sign saying âSCAM MEâ.
âYouâre such a pretty young lady! Your hair is so silky and beautiful! This hair pin would be just perfect! Or maybe this one? Oh, how about both? They go wonderful together and match your eyes!â
Sai took a deep breath, willing himself to stay calm as he strode over to the next stall, this one just covered in the ugliest, gaudiest, tackiest accessories Sai had ever seen. Even from a distance, he could see Baby 5âs face turning deep red as her hands flew up to cover her mouth, no doubt mumbling to herself about being needed. In passing, Sai couldnât help but note how cute her flushed cheeks and doe eyes lookedâbut the thought was quickly overpowered by the annoyance he felt.
Because past his wife, he could also see the shameless, uncaring intent behind the vendorâs forceful attitude.
âHey,â Sai growled as soon as he was close enough, bringing both womenâs attention to himself.
The vendorâs eyes seemed to harden for a split second before that award-winning, fake sales smile took over once more. âIâll be with you shortly, sir. Please, feel free to browse the wares while I attend to this lovely lady!â
âNo, you wonât.â Sai had to try very hard to keep his voice level as he took a step forward, placing himself in between the vendor and Baby 5.
âSir, you canâtââ the woman started but, once their eyes met, she froze, taking a step back. Sai wasnât sure if she was simply taken aback by the way he towered over her or if some of his anger was showing on his face.
Not that the reason mattered to him.
Biting back any aggressive remarks, Sai turned away from the vendor to instead throw a look at his wife. âFive, letâsââ
âDarling!!â
âWhatâ?! What are you doing?!â he cried in surprise when Baby 5 threw herself at him, her small form pressing against him as she hugged his arm tight.
She beamed up at him, her big eyes dancing with what seemed like actual sparkles, a giggle on her lips.
âI seriously donât get you,â Sai mumbled, scratching at the back of his neck awkwardly.Â
This girlâs mind was so confusing and her reactions so random at times that it left him with his head spinning. But⊠he was starting to get used to it. At first, he would jump out of his skin whenever Baby 5 would call him darling or start fixing his clothes, massage his shoulders, bring him water during training with Booâor worse, get him breakfast in bed and try to hand feed him as if he were a toddler.
These days, however, he mostly accepted these things as a part of her. A part that needed to be worked on and toned down to be sure, but one that had become⊠almost endearing. He would rather sit through one of Cavendishâs three-hour rants about how amazing and beautiful and popular he was than admit it though.
But, Baby 5âs overzealous attempt to help and please him were the least of Saiâs concerns right now.
Throwing one last warning look at the vendor, he took a step forward. âLetâs go, Five.â
âOkay, darling!â Baby 5 sang happily as she followed him, her small hands never once loosening their hold on Saiâs forearm.
Sai didnât mind.
They walked in silence for a while, simply taking in the sights of the festivalâall the while Sai made sure to glare at every sales person who only slightly looked like they were about to swoop in.Â
Finally, Sai heaved a deep sigh.
âFive, you need to learn that itâs okay to say no when you donât want something,â he said with annoyance tinting his words, glancing at his wife.
She didnât look back at him; rather, it looked like she was actively avoiding his gaze. If it wasnât for the way her hands squeezed around his arm momentarily, and the way her already small frame seemingly shrunk even more, he would almost think she didnât hear him.
âIâm sorry,â she mumbled after a long while, her voice so low it was barely audible.
And immediately, rage started bubbling in Saiâs veins again.
He clenched his fist, the one that Baby 5 wasnât basically clutching at, willing himself to stay calm. âIâm not angry.â He paused, before quickly rectifying his statement. âNot at you.â
That seemed to make Baby 5 snap out of whatever mental state she had thrown herself into. She froze for a second, then her big eyes finally turned up to blink at him. âWhat?â
âIâm not angry at you,â Sai stressed, his brow furrowing. âIâm pissed at everyone else taking advantage of you! Itâs like you donât even know what you want past all the shit everyone else keeps pushing at you!â
âIâI donâtââ Baby 5 stuttered, but then went silent, her cheeks flushing as her eyes shifted to the side again. Looking so guilty.
The sight sent a new wave of anger through Sai. Just how deeply ingrained could one personâs trauma be? How bad would it have been had her so-called âfamilyâ not encouraged her bad habits?
It wasnât fucking fair to her.
Taking a deep breath to force himself to calm down, Sai stopped walking, forcing Baby 5 to pause as well. He ignored the annoyed comments and complaints from the passersby, not even sparing them an apology for blocking the path. He simply looked at his wife for a moment, taking in her small, confused frown, the pink dusting on her cheeks and nose from the chilly air, the way her breath hitched.
Slowly, Sai raised his free hand to touch her cheek. Absent-mindedly, he noted how cold her skin felt.
âFive, just say what you want. No oneâs going to toss you away just for saying ânoâ or âI want crab for dinnerâ. Not here. And if they try, Iâll kick their asses!â
Baby 5âs eyes went wide. And seeing her surprise, the implications of what he had just said hit Sai like a warship.
Retracting his hand as if Baby 5âs skin had burned him, Sai jumped away from her, so abruptly and forcefully that his arm slipped from Baby 5âs grasp. Immediately, both his hands flew up, and he started waving them in front of himself as if he could shove the awkwardness away.Â
This time, it was his turn to stumble over his own words. âI justâI meanââ
He froze completely when a new sound reached his ears. It took him a few seconds to realise what it was⊠and when he did, he could only stare in wonder as Baby 5 laughed. Not a giggle, a huff, or a cute little chuckle that sounded almost painfully fake; rather, it was a genuine, happy laughter, so carefree that it startled Sai. He wasnât sure if he had ever heard her laugh so easily, so openly.
The sight made his heart jump in his chest, something stirring in his stomach. Surprisingly⊠he didnât hate the feeling.
Before he could stop himself, Sai took a step forward; one of his hands shot forward, grabbing at Baby 5âs wrist to pull her towards himself. The girl stumbled forward, falling right into Saiâs arms with a surprised yelp, and immediately, Saiâs other hand wrapped around his wifeâs waist, holding her close.
âDaâDarling?! Whatâs goingââ
âI donât know,â Sai said, his voice tight, his eyes closed as heat rushed to his face. Why the hell did he do that? He just hugged her without thinking after seeing her laughâŠ
But, when Baby 5âs fingers curled into his coat, clutching at the fabric like her life depended on it, her entire body relaxing into him as her face dropped to bury in his chest, Saiâs regret and confusion evaporated. Instead, a strange feeling of rightness bloomed in his chest, making a smile pull on his lips, and his grip on her waist tightened momentarily.
What was this woman doing to him? Just a few months ago, he was engaged to Ooklicia and couldnât care less about itâor about Ooklicia and her husband harem, for that matterâbut now, he couldnât imagine being married to anyone else. Couldnât imagine going to sleep every day without Five by his side.
Stepping away a little, just enough for Five to look up at him questioningly, Sai let go of her wrist and waist; instead, slowly, carefully⊠he cupped her face. He waited a moment, watching his wifeâs eyes go wide, before her expression melted, her cheeks turning pinkânot from the chill in the air, but from something deeper and warmer. Her eyes fluttered shut then and, as if on cue, Saiâs heart started beating a pace faster. He was now acutely aware of the way her soft skin felt under his touch, her nose a little red from the cold, her breath visible in the freezing air.Â
Saiâs ears burned for reasons beyond his comprehension. Why was he so nervous? They were married, for fuckâs sake!
Sai took a deep breathâand a second later, their lips finally connected.
It wasnât a long kiss; it wasnât sensual or lustful or erotic in any way⊠and yet, it made Sai feel hot still.
When they pulled away from each other, Sai couldnât look at Fiveâs expression. He knew he would only find a happy smile there, but he simply couldnât bring himself to face itâor more accurately, couldnât bring himself to face the feelings that would stir inside him at the sight. His face was already burning, he didnât need to make it any worse.Â
Turning away quickly, Sai started walking again. He didnât protest the way Five rushed over to his side to hug his arm close once more as she matched his pace.Â
âAnywayââ Sai cleared his throat awkwardly ââwhat do you want to do now?â
It took Five a few seconds to say anything, and Sai wasnât surprised; it would probably be a long road before she could express herself freely. He waited patiently while she chewed on her bottom lip before finally⊠she replied.
âI⊠want one of the plushies we saw at the shooting game earlier.â
âAlright! Letâs go!â Sai proclaimed loudly, before he turned them around and started walking with purpose.
âWe donât have to go right now!â Five cried, surprised by Saiâs resolve.
Sai huffed. âIf we donât go now, there wonât be any left!â
âButââ Five stopped speaking suddenly, and when Sai glanced at her, she was wearing an expression so flustered and happy that in that momentâŠ
Sai decided.
He would win that plush if it killed him.
âââââ
By the time they got home that night, Five was hugging a large, fluffy stuffed cat to her chest.
Next to her, Sai could barely see over the mountain of different plushiesâthe prizes heâd gotten after beating every single game at the festival. He may have gone a little overboard but seeing that beaming, beautiful smile every time he wonâŠ
Imagine being Sai during the battle of Dressrosa tho
