Hello! Someone who is aromantic and asexual is still totally valid in feeling that want to be in a relationship and be hugged! A relationship does not necessarily have to be romantic or sexual and really just be a special type of friendship or anything that you want it to be. Which includes an asexual and aromantic person being with a sexual and romantic person. Relationships don’t have to be a specific way and it’s up to you and your partner to communicate what it is you want and/or need out of a relationship :)

Asexuality and aromanticism are very varied types of labels that can vary from person to person. But a way you could explain it is that it’s the absence of sexual and romantic attraction.

You could definitely be bisexual, however it sounds like you’re a bit unsure. My best advice to you would be to perhaps look at other sexualities, other types of romantic attraction, and just feel it out. You could figure out whether the same sex attraction you are feeling is sexual, romantic or both and go from there. If you’re unsure now, the best thing you can do (in my non-expert opinion!) is look at different options, and maybe you’ll find a description that suits you, or several, or you might concoct your own, or perhaps you’ll decide to leave it be.
