I finally watched Wonder Woman and it was amazing on all accounts and it made me want to draw my lovely buff ladies that would have been completely at home on Themiscyra. I didn’t get to all of them, but here is the lovely Saethil rocking an Amazonian look and doing it well. 

Sorry I haven’t been very productive these last few days, but here are some Werewolf AU doodles aka an excuse to draw Fen’Sulahn’s followers in modern attire and cop!Kel.

I was going to draw Beauty and Sympathy as well but I wanted to get these out. I don’t know what Beauty’s role will be but I imagine Sympathy runs a clinic for all the supernatural creatures running around the Brecilian Wilds. 

Fortitude: “You’re Fen’Sulahn’s, which means you’re one of OURS now. Let’s go celebrate!”

Saethil: “I can already taste the regret I’ll be feeling tomorrow.”

Oh man, like it’s probably terrible for Sylaise’ people because Fen’Sulahn’s got this weird aesthetic that totally doesn’t fit Arlathan standards, but her people always look stunning anyway, even the ones that don’t fit perfect aesthetic values because most of them don’t care. They tend to just shrug it off because why worry about what the uppity elves in Arlathan think about color palettes and the size of entrance columns when you have dogs? 

But also I imagine at first it was like, “Ok, Fen’Sulahn has Beauty and Marassal and they’re gorgeous but at least we’ve got Melarue.” and then Melarue gets traded and they just throw up their hands in defeat, “Are you KIDDING me!?!?” Sylaise is still salty about losing Mel, though at least they have remained in Arlathan as a manager of the Pleasure District. That would have been a huge loss if they’d gone to Adahlan and stayed there, since most of the Pleasure District’s smooth running is thanks to them. They also run Fen’Sulahn’s Arlathan estate when she is not there.

Aelynthi: Aelynthi’s insults are sarcastic and biting and cut to the quick, at least when he’s REALLY meaning to insult someone. He has a tendency to say curt things to the people he likes “like calling Victory a giant idiot a lot” but when he’s actually insulting someone, they know. He doesn’t have the grace that his nanae does in the delivery, but it still hurts. He insults people mostly when they’ve been a jerk to either himself or people he knows...or even strangers. His social justice meter is pretty high, he’ll go for anyone he thinks needs a good verbal beatdown. He’ll complain about people a lot, but mostly this is rants to his friends and others in his mage advocacy groups.

Melarue: Melarue’s insults are so beautiful done and set up that the person just stands there wondering how it happened. They’ve just been publicallly humiliated in the most epic of fashions, and they can’t even come up with a comeback. All their exit routes have been blocked. They have dug their own grave and now they have to lie in it and wonder at the beauty of that insult that just murdered them. 

Melarue insults people for all kinds of reasons, but mainly when they’ve just had it with the person they are talking to...like if they’ve just seen the person do something horribly rude to someone else, or say something racist or derogatory, etc. They are not the type to bitch behind someone’s back...unless they’re planning to destroy someone so utterly that they’re working on spreading rumors about said person. 

Saethil: Saethil’s got a dry humor that translates into her insults. She’s also got Resting Bitch Face that terrifies whoever she’s insulting most of the time. Her insults are usually dry, short, and blunt, all laced with her own blend of sass. When you’ve got to deal with Fortitude’s oblivious ass all the time, you learn how to let even the most dense of foes know they’re being insulted, while still being tasteful.  Saethil usually insults people when they’re incompetent, or have done something just so radically moronic that she can’t keep her mouth shut. Or when dealing with most of Sylaise’ followers, they just bring it out in her. Andruil’s too, those cocky assholes...Saethil won’t bitch behind someone’s back, she’ll tell them straight to their face, and wait to see if they’ll muster the courage to do something about it.
