OCtober Day 3 - Habitat
Haluuma is most at home on open plains and fields, with forests coming in as a close second. Letting herself run, over open plains or between trees, is one of her favorite, most calming past times - in any of her forms. The scents of grass and the sounds of the animals around her bring her a peace like nothing else, and she misses it keenly when circumstances force her to lie somewhere else, like a city or desert, for any length of time. Jaesix's natural habitat is a battlefield. No matter the location, in peaceful, undisturbed nature she is constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. The thick of a battlefield isn't exactly peaceful, but there's a certain calm she can achieve simply by knowing the most likely direction of any attack, and being free to reply in kind. If she had to pick anything else, it would have to be the coast - dreary, chilly coasts, such as are found around most of northern Kalimdor or Gilneas. They suit her mood, not many people go there, and she can sit with her back to the water and be reasonably sure she'll hear any murlocs long before they can attack her. Maewyn is a child of the sea and loves being on a ship, or on a beach, with all of her heart. But as much as she loves the sea or seaside, she also flourishes nicely in deserts. She thrives on heat and sun, loathes being even mildly cold, and isn't overly bothered by the many irritations of sand. She would chose the ocean and it's gulls and brine-tang taste and wind over anything, but if denied that she would be content to live out the rest of her days in some place like Durotar or Hellfire, or even Silithus. Vol'dun would be a dream vacation.
