So @uniformshark was feeling sad and designed an appropriate lil sadpole that I immediately animated because I have no idea how to cheer people up. And I don’t know if it was working. Maybe slapping this pink toad will help.

Sadpole
much like a frog changing sex in response to strange chemicals in the water, I have transformed from a neutral woman into a sad woman in response to the misery and despair in my environment
many such cases

So I finished up the New York State Summer School of the Arts at the end of July...
... And today, for no reason whatsoever, I miss it as much as I did the day I left. My sister keeps comparing my experience there to an LIT program she did at some camp, which makes me want to punch something. For the love of God, NYSSSA is NOTHING like camp. There were no bonfires, canoeing trips, or anything of the sort. It was the most challenging month of my life; however, it was also the best. I have never loved a group of people so much as I do my NYSSSAfolk. They're just the most beautiful people I've ever met, and honestly they're a better family than my biological one. And I feel kind of silly for spewing all this on the interwebs, but yeah. NYSSSASOT 2011, home is wherever I'm with you. <3
