All feelings are valid.
There are no stupid feelings. Maybe annoying feelings, but not stupid/worthless feelings.
How you cope with your feelings and what you do in response to them matters.
Having a feeling can be both delightful and painful. Some feelings are not pleasant and others are very pleasant, it all depends on the feeling. Some emotions are both wonderful and terrible to feel, but they are still valid; Even if a feeling hurts, that feeling is a valid feeling.
A person's feelings are important, they are valid, but how one deals with these emotions must not be taken lightly.
There is a big difference between a coping mechanism and a healthy coping mechanism.
If you are sad, it is okay to be sad - everyone gets sad and that's okay. There is no shame in crying. It is healthy to feel sadness every now and then. If you are not okay do not lie about it. Sadness is a feeling, it's not pleasant but it is something we all have. You can learn from sadness and help others. Understanding sadness is important, when you know how you feel you can then begin to understand the feelings of others. Empathy is a great tool, it can be used to help others, use it with care. Sadness is valid.
If you are happy, let yourself be happy - It is a gift to be happy and you deserve it. You may not always be happy, but when you are it is your choice whether or not to let.yoursekf enjoy it. So remember to let yourself enjoy those happy feeling, no matter how long they last. Happiness is valid.
If you are jealous, it's okay - It's not the end of the world to envy something someone else has, what matters is that you acknowledge the feelings and deal with them properly, dont let it fester. Be thankful for what you do have and embrace the incredible person you are. Jealousy is valid.
If you are angry, that's okay - Everyone gets angry, just don't let that anger turn to harmful acts towards you or others. Anger is valid.
Everyone is a mess filled with emotions whether they know how to deal with them or not. And that's okay.
"All feelings are valid feelings." - Thomas Sanders.
You will go through good days and bad days, your feelings may confuse you at times and that's okay.
Feelings are part of you, even if you don't like them. They are not good or bad. A feeling is a complex thing, and how a person acts on a feeling will change how that feeling is viewed.
So if you dont like how a feeling makes you feel, try using that feeling in a positive way or acknowledge it's presence and let it go.
Acknowledge your feelings. Process your feelings. Decide whether or not you like a certain feeling. And find a healthy way deal with these feeling.
If you are jealous, figure out what you are jealous for and either 1) come to terms with this feeling and let it go, 2) get whatever it is you are jealous of, or 3) turn that jealousy into admiration and respect.
If someone has an outfit you like, tell them you like it and ask them where they got it. Maybe you can get one like it.
If you are jealous of someone's beauty, remember that you are beautiful too. Even if you do not think you are. Everyone has a beauty all their own. You can't buy a new face, but coming to terms with the fact that you are beautiful too will help.
You only view yourself so harshly because you live with yourself, you've seen the ups and downs of your life, you know all of your quirks and disadvantages and limits. It's like ice cream, ice cream is great but most people wouldn't enjoy it if they ate it for every meal. But ice cream is still great. (Hope this example made sense.)
Jealousy is often a cause of conflict, but when you are jealous it just means you wish you had something that you do not, or believe you do not, have.
If you admire something let yourself admire it, but do not covet it. If there is something you want then get it, within reason of course. If you like someone's looks tell them, but remember to admire your own. If there is a way someone acts or thinks and you wish you were more like them remember you are your own person. They are the way they are because of what they've been through and how they let themself think. Instead of being envious of their outlook on life try to admire it. If they can look out at life and be themself then you can too. Use that as an example, proof to yourself that if they've done it you can too. If you want to be more outgoing try to be more outgoing, talk to one person new if you can, or find someone you trust and open up, even if it's just a little. If you want to dress a certain way then make it a goal, earn the money and buy those things.
If you have a feeling express it, but express it in a healthy way.
Write down how you feel or draw, even if it's just doodles.
Take a warm shower. It will relax you.
Sing, dance, swim, or run around to release energy and let the feelings wash off you.
Build something, learn a new skill, travel, explore a hobby.
Do something that helps you feel balanced and relaxed.
Find someone to vent to (talk to/with) about your feelings.
Whatever you feel, no matter why, is valid and worth something. Even if it's just a passing thought or small experience that causes the feeling, the feeling is still valid and worth acknowledging.
Not everything you feel will be correct, but the feelings are still valid. You may feel useless at times, and though that feeling is very incorrect, you must acknowledge this feeling. But do not harbor those feelings, feelings are free and flowing, they may change or grow and that is good. If you feel a negative feeling think about it and decide whether or not you should let it go or act on it in order to feel better, and decide how you will do that. If you feel sad, find out why and if possible fix it or let it go. If you feel down on yourself, remind yourself that you are an amazing creature with talents and a unique mixture of likes and dislikes and experiences no one else has. Embrace yourself, and let the negativity go or turn it into motivation to help yourself grow and advance in life.
If you feel something, acknowledge it, but do not just immediately accept it as the truth. Think about how you feel, sometimes a feeling will simply pass by, other times it will grow or just stay. If you like a feeling let it be, if you don't like a feeling do something about it.
Feel free to feel free. No one can decide for you how you feel, only you have the power to change and grow and learn from your experiences and feelings.
Remember to breathe.
All feelings are valid.
Your feelings are valid.
YOU are valid.
