I really shouldn't be getting this worked up about my computer finally dying.
But it's been with me longer than my wife. I've used it to create comedy and art in video, audio, and written form. I've nursed it back to life before: a new hard drive here, new RAM there, a new video card from Apple when it turned out my series had a design flaw.
It's covered in the better part of a decade's worth of stickers, it's shown me beauty and filth and everything in between, my wife and I watched DS9 on it on our honeymoon, it's something I've used every day for seven years.
Man. I feel like I'm a day away from putting my dog to sleep.
I miss my computer 😢 It's just sitting on the desk sad and alone, and every time I turn it on in hopes of a new and better reaction, it just reminds me that it can't get past the blinking-horizontal-cursor-page.

My iTunes is feeling depressed, apparently
Set iTunes to shuffle my 800+ Top Rated songs, which, I promise, are not all depressing. There's so much happy in there. But the first - no joke - TWENTY songs have all been depressing as shit! The only three Lana Del Ray songs I have on the playlist were all played within the first eight songs.
I got infected by a rogue virus and have been trying to get the damn thing removed for a while now. Hope to have a blog up early next week!
