yk i think wuya does find herself uncomfortable at times, with how she's seen in the world at large. she isn't human. she's a yaoguai, a spirit often associated with malevolence and curses. if she does not try to play some kind of role, if she doesn't try to feign some kind of humanity ... often times, it makes her undesirable.
i also think she gets uncomfortable with how crows are treated. she IS a crow, her spirit is that of a crow. so to her, those are kin, they're family. crows are adored by some, but to many people they are ill omens. pests. and ... idk. i think for her ,, actually witnessing any kind of abuse, dislike, or hatred towards them ,, feels personal in a way.
wuya i realize, in many of her verses, struggles a LOT with finding somewhere she belongs. where she is accepted, and fits in.
