SACRAMENTO, CA – A propane tank exploded this morning at a recycling center sending shock waves throughout downtown.

According Sacramento Fire Spokesman Robert Padilla, an old Regional Transit bus was being broken down and recycled at approximately 10 a.m. at the Sims Metal Management facility on N 12th Street, when the propane tank attached to the bus exploded.
