The idea that Hank can smell differences when it’s happening would actually be really fascinating. I’m sure Stryker probably would’ve noted it as well, which is double “fuck you shut up” for Victor. Hank would be really good at noticing little things, especially when it’s the person he cares about the most clearly not quite the same on occasion. Also, Victor’s shifting during sex would worry Hank so hard, especially if it’s towards something more animalistic, showing a flight or fight response. I think Victor would have a lot of denial about it. Probably try to tell himself that no this is just how everyone is or “ weird mutation thing”. Hank would explain it very gently.
