Dr SM Balaji invited as Chief Guest to Inaugurate SAARC Youth Camp The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development invited Dr SM Balaji, Craniofacial Surgeon, to inaugurate the 4th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Youth Camp that was held in Chennai, India. Theme of the camp was “Youth as Ambassadors in Global Partnership for Development” and youth from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka participated in the camp. Dr SM Balaji inaugurated the camp with the official lighting of the lamp and spoke to the delegates about developing leadership qualities that would enable them to serve their nations and attain the goals that were laid down in the SAARC manifesto.
