— imagine yuu/mc being a sky kid/moth who gets transported into twisted wonderland
— they were on their journey to the eye of eden, about to get hit by a krill when they were suddenly taken by the carriage just to wake up in the mirror chamber
— babes is curious, maybe a little confused!
“why is everyone so tall? how do i do that? where is everyone’s capes? how will they know how much cape energy they have??”
— imagine the miscommunication that would ensue due to the two world’s cultural differences
— in moth!yuu’s attempt to making friends, they conjure their candle and hold it up to ace and deuce, hoping to create a bond
— only for the two to be confused as hell. and so bc they don’t know what moth!yuu is asking, they don’t reciprocate; unintentionally sending the message that they aren’t that close as yuu assumed
— imagine the angst value!! as the story progresses and these three grow closer, moth!yuu starts having mixed feelings bc they’ve grown so close to each other but none of them seem to reciprocate yuu’s feelings?
“why isn’t anyone lighting their candle back? do they not want to be friends?? :((”
— and bc sky kids don’t usually communicate through words, moth!yuu heavily relies on body language and gestures to get the point across which a lot of nrc finds amusing bc this kid’s literally just playing charades
— while yuu’s body language is open, a handful of nrc students find them unsettling by not just their otherworldly appearance, but also because of how unreadable their face is due to their mask
— i like to imagine that someone somehow gets the memo and lights yuu’s candle. just for them to freak out when they hear yuu’s voice for the first time
“WHA— you can talk?!” “I’ve always been able to talk! But none of you wanted to light my candle back!” “That’s all we had to do this whole time?!”
— omg imagine the language barrier
“why isn’t anyone answering back? do they need to send a big honk instead?
ace gave yuu a weird look. “Hey, Juice. Why’re they squatting like—“ “HOOOOOOONNKKK!!!” “GAH–what the hell man?!”
i haven’t played the game in a while but i thought this idea was cute
