CP: There's a million ways to love another person and to commit to another person. And we have this societal weight of what marriage is, and it comes with a lot of outdated traditions that don't suit us. And we get to redefine that, and we get to work together on that.

So, just like your taste buds that change every seven years. Tobin and I try to build a life where every couple of years we reassess if we want to be together, if we want to be in the same work, if we want to live in the same place, and we don't expect to be the same person our whole lives.

TH: And I think what's so unique about that, and I think maybe this is why, you know, I love you and why I love our evolution, is that it almost feels like we get to you know, have halftimes and have quarters and get to reassess. And even we get to say like, "Hey, do we want to change things up?" You know, like, "How is this feeling?"

CP: And you have got to be secure in your relationship to let your partner think that every seven years she's going to decide if she does or does not want to stay with you.

TH: I think so.

CP: I know so.
