Random Theory on "I Got You Babe"
You can absolutely tell me I'm wrong but I very skeptically and hopefully think the electrical emergency and supposed child acquisition is going to be a more in-depth character healing arc than we think it is.
Whatever is happening with this kid in "I Got You Babe," it will not be as simple as donor baby coming back. I fully think this kid is going to remind Buck of his struggles as a child. If we are following the themes of the season which to me seem to be:
grief as love, guidance, and legacy
family can be chosen, not just biological
change should be embraced
your past informs the person you are, but it does not define you.
Given that, I think it will most likely be a child with neglectful to non-existent parental figures who is coping by getting himself into dangerous situations. It will be someone who Buck can't help but want to protect, possibly even lash out at the parental figures paralleling Eddie's comments to Abigail's parents.
And Ryan's comment (during a convention) on how Buck will receive something that only Eddie will understand? Obviously, the whole of the 118 can relate to taking care of kids in one way of the other, but being confronted with your past by having the patterns play out in front of you with a different person? I think maybe out of all our characters, Eddie, would be the most capable of understanding Buck in the situation; especially given how protective he's been shown to be for any child that comes on screen.
Regardless, I am looking forward to Buck, Eddie, and Christopher interacting with this child if that is where we are headed.
Supernatural S09E17 Mother's Little Helper
Why did it take Dean five hits to answer Sam's call?
Waitresses calling Sam 'Honey' or 'Sweetie' is so dear to me
Ok Sam giving orders is fucking hot!
Oohh that pool break was hot too
How are these demons just walking into covenants and holding rosary? Knight of Hell has special privileges I know but other demons?
Hehehe Sam recorded exorcism on his phone
The souls going back to their bodies is so Scooby Doo live action movie coded
The bunker is supposed to be warded against everything right?? So how did Abaddon just waltz in as Josie?
Overall 7/10 episode. Loved the case Sam was working on. The flashbacks were amazing and we got to know Abaddon's origins. Taken points off for the great (by great i mean dull) weekend of Crowley and Dean. Kinda lame, really. And the lore about demons was kinda all over the place
